Last year early on we were sitting with several Alcoa fans and told them about our game and they said that couldn't be right, it wasn't 10 minutes later they said that we were right that Goodpasture was cheap.

The only thing I saw in the 2010 Alcoa vs Goodpasture game was Alcoa handing Goodpasture a major butt whipping. Goodpasture only had 5 penalties for 28 yards, which seems like they were 5yrd penalties and no 15yrd Penalties. OH WAIT, I FORGOT, THE REFS DIDN'T CALL IT IN THAT GAME EITHER. <_<

It's OK, if Sequatchie County would of beat GP last year, you probably wouldn't of come over to the Grundy vs Goodpasture thread and talk about how dirty they were. I will leave it alone and wish your Sequatchie County Indians the very best Friday night vs Harpeth. Maybe we will see each other in round #3!

Last year early on we were sitting with several Alcoa fans and told them about our game and they said that couldnt be right, it wasnt 10 minutes later they said that we were right that Goodpasture was cheap. And Indian is right the Sequatchie game about got out of control because the ref were not calling anything, the 4th quarter was the worst.

I can't speak with authority regarding the accusations of cheap and dirty play in the past. However, the Captain of this year's team has been offered admission to the United States Naval Academy. I think we can all agree Navy only offers young men of high character, honor and integrity admission to their academy. So when you look at number 3 on Goodpasture's team try and remember one day he might either be a Naval aviator or maybe perhaps a Navy Seal who will be willing to give his life for his country. He's also the young man responsible for leading his team and setting the right example on the football field. With that said, I would suggest Grundy County not worry too much about how Goodpasture is going to conduct itself and rather spend it's tine focusing on stopping the Wing-T.

Logic says a team that lost to Bledsoe 55-6 has absolutely no chance to compete in this game...but you still have to play the game. Goodpasture is playing their best football of the season. Good luck to both teams.

I agree totatly. That's what I said when everyone was predicting who would play whom.

Goodpasture will win this game by 28.

this game could get ugly quick without the two key players not going to get to play or wont be 100% at game time. think its time for more freshman to stand up and take charge for the upperclassmen. good luck grundy :thumb:

Which team is missing two key players? I heard that a player from Goodpasture was going to have to sit out. Is that who you are referring to?

Yah im going man man man man man. Im gonna have me one of them tailgate parties out of the back of my old Ram Truck. If I can find my tailgate.

Make sure you don't throw any chicken bones on the ground. Those private schoolers don't have any wild animals to eat'em. They got all those domestic animals that eat domestic food.

    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
    • Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.
    • What does everyone have in the final 8? In no particular order. 1. Eagleville 2. Gordonsville 3. Greenback 4. Oakdale 5. South Pitt/ East Robertson-- not sure 6. Richland 7. Halls 8. Union City
