Smyrna is a MUCH different team than you saw last time also. Add to this y'alls passing attack has NOT gotten better.

Again? Dont remember then dominating the first time. what i do remember is that BOTH defenses were helped out by some timely turnovers. So don't be so quick to pound your chest. Your offense got some help from Brentwwod last week in the way of turnovers. Its not like you went out and ran the score up. The Bulldogs have put up some good numbers yardage and points wise against some very good teams since we last played. Not to mention we have won 5 of our last six with three in a row. Your offense hung a a huge three points on Independence. Which tells me a good defense can stop your offense.

No disrespect but if you read back through the posts i think you will see the Franlin faithful predicting anywhere from 3- 14 points for the Bulldogs. Not the other way around. We scored more than that in the first meeting with 5 turnovers. Yes a good defense can give us some trouble like #23 in the nation Olive Branch, #2 in the state Riverdale, #6 in the state Siegel, and #10 in the state Blackman. All good defenses and we scored anywhere from 14- 28 points. So we can score on good defenses as well. The biggest loss to any one of those four teams was by 7 points to Riverdale which happens to be our biggest margin of defeat. So no its not disrespect just confidence that we will do well. Don't let the 6-4 record fool you. But i do agree its going to be a battle. I don't think either team will blow out the other. Just think the Bulldogs are the better team and have been battle tested all season for moments like this.

You dont understand the level of play in the playoffs like Smyrna does. No offense, but thats why smyrna has multiple state championships and Franklin has none.
