3ball4ever
I do not know her name, she played in the post position last night against Jefferson County. After watching Bearden play , the two sophmores one in the post and one at a shooting guard position. These transfers will be a plus, to an already good looking ball team. Go Dawgs! QSouth89
Remember back in 2006-2007 and the Catholic team finished 3rd in District and made it to the Region tournament...those were the good days such optimism..wonder what happened to the program after that? They were in AA back then and there was a coaching change. 4AAA girls basketball is tough.
QSouth89
Talk about upsets! Due to injuries, Knoxville Catholic dresses 8 players and beats the Oak Ridge Lady Wildcats 50-48. Way to go Lady Irish.

Way to go Lady Irish. Lady Irish look to be much improved. They finally have some size and depth. 3 newcomers made a huge impact. Great win for Coach Ball and his Lady Irish. GovMan
Did all the schools win thier opening games? Catholic had an amazing game and won Heritage won in double overtime William Blount girls lost to a very young--and very good--Science Hill team. SH has a sophomore post (Knack?) who I believe has the potential to be a SEC caliber D1 recruit if she continues to improve. Read where Maryville's girls narrowly defeated Sequoya. IrishBBall
Anderson County girls beat Catholic double digits. Lady Irish have poor shooting night at around 25% and miss double digit FTs. AC's post players looked pretty good.
