bballalltheway4
Wow. This thread degenerated into way more than 15 minutes of my life that I'll never get back. I'm surprised the tourney got postponed though with the forecast not that ominous. Good luck to everybody. I have been reading this thread and I must congratulate you on how much smarter you are than everyone else. Since you have so much time to spell check everyone else, I think you have wasted way more time than 15 minutes of your life on here. If its taking away from your life, mind your on business and quit belittling everyone else. Everyone on here has their opinions and you always have something smart to say. I don't know the kid whose name was called out, but I do know that it was wrong. My kid plays for Dickson High and if it was my son, I wouldn't have liked it either. You know you wouldn't want Dalton called out. JUST SAYING!!!!!!
naswatch
Hey naswatch: I believe Cheatham County benefited from a strong schedule this year. They played Ravenwood, Kenwood (twice), Rossview, Greenbrier (twice), White House (twice), Watertown, DeKalb County, Harpeth (twice), Camden (twice), Creek Wood (twice), and Waverly (twice). The other games were against Houston County (twice), Stewart County (twice), Montgomery Central (twice), Portland, Clarksville-Northwest, Page, and Cascade. 18 of the Cubs 28 games were against what I would call "decent" competition or better yeah i have to give to Cheatham they have a nice well balanced team. They did play a good non district schedule.

howdoitknow
Harpeth will play Waverly on Friday night in one of the semifinal matchups. The 2 teams split the regular season series. Coach Wilson and Coach Rawlings have gone head-to-head many times through the years and this one (like most of those) should be a classic battle. howdoitknow
I dont think he is criticizing Cheatham's schedule, but Waverly played Beech, Lake County, Giles County, Perry County twice,Dickson County twice, a strong team from Georgia, and of course the district. I agree that Cheatham played a good schedule as well. Last nights Waverly-Montgomery Central score doesn't surprise me, MC gave Waverly close games in the regular season too. It was always a heated match up. I wasn't posting that to "imply" that he was stating that "Waverly played a tougher or easier" schedule than did the Cubs. I personally believe that Waverly and Cheatham County both played very challenging schedules. I believe that Harpeth and Creek Wood played difficult schedules to a degree but not as difficult as Waverly's or Cheatham's. I do feel that Camden's non-district schedule left a lot to be desired but I will give them credit in the fact that they took care of business by going 12-1 in the non-district portion of their schedule. I would like to see Camden play some of the 13-AA or 14-AA teams in their future non-district games.

Harpeth's may not have been the toughest, but they have given Waverly all they can handle so it hasn't effected them against us lol. I think Waverly and Cheatham definitely played the toughest 2 schedules Out of District. The final 5 teams left in my opinion all the potential to cause each other problems. I haven't seen Cheatham so I can't say on them, but the other 4 teams all are pretty close in my opinion and could beat each other on any day. I look forward to seeing how it all unfolds! Other than the part about me being a smart aleck, I don't have a clue what you're talking about. I haven't talked about anyone's kid in a derogatory manner, nor will you ever see me do so. What I was inferring to was the seemingly back and forth sock puppet game where it appears, (to me anyway),that a kid made up about 3 or 4 screen names to make up conversations.
