Sequatchie was a little sloppy at times but got a win vs Christian Heritage from North Georgia, 72-52, in the Whitwell tournament. Led 19-6 after one but probably could have had 10 more points at least, missed several shots up close. 41-28 at the half, allowed too many uncontested or barely contested shots in the second quarter. 60-41 after three.

Seq got good production from Keegan Frederick, 19 points, 8 rebounds; Dakota Hudson, 16 points, 10 rebounds; Madison Tucker, 16 points, 4 assists, 3 steals; Rodney Smith, 11 points, 8 rebounds; Daniel Cartwright, 8 points, 8 assists, 6 steals. Heritage didn't have a lot of size but they shot well and played hard, they actually rebounded better than McCallie did vs Sequatchie. Ballhandling was a weakness.

Seq will need more consistent play Friday vs East Ridge, probably won't force 28 turnovers like tonight to help things.

I attended the Bledsoe/NotreDame game Tuesday night. I don't think NotreDame ever led in this game by any margine . If the Worthington boy did not foul out early in the fourth period Bledsoe would have won by more than 25. The team needs to play more as a team, and not just one man carrying the load. Ball handling for the warriors became a small issue once Jamal was fouled out. This team will suprise alot of teams if they can play consistent and as a team.

Notre Dame will come on strong but its shaping up like it is a 2 team district between Sequatchie and Bledsoe. Both have 2 losses with the Indians losing to McCallie and East Ridge and the Warriors losing to Whitwell and Dekalb Co.. Both have played Meigs ( SC by 15, BC by 7), Whitwell (SC by 15, BC -4), Grundy(SC by 34, BC by 38), Signal (SC & BC by 7)

IMO. Sequatchie too much size and athleticism for Bledsoe, and really any other district team. Coach Smith has 4 guys that can guard basically every position. Cartwright and Frederick are giving people fits as a duo, as well as with Hudson and #30 (Not sure on name). I think if Sequatchie can continue improving they could be a serious threat in a region and possible substate game.

#30 is Rodney Smith

Should be an interesting game tonight for the Indians at Soddy Daisy!
