Missing my point dear. That was a big time play by Hall. There were 4 turnovers and all hurt. The endzone pick puts us up 21 - 14 at the half. The fourth quarter pick stops the mo to get back into the game. The timing of those two are my point.

You made such a stink about my saying "would have been a spankin, IF IF IF" and now all you have are IF's IF's IF's.

Giles could have won "IF" Greeneville didn't BEAT them! Straight up!

I heard Giles fans hollering "300 yards tonight baby" to number 1 or 24 or 1 (depending on which week it is)and he got snot.

By far the best quarterback Greeneville faced all year and they were concerned,but those boys did what they had to and gave what they intended to give!

So don't talk about my what if, would've been a spankin if this and if that when all you have to go on is IF this turn over and IF that turnover.

If you heard the Giles fans then you probably were not sitting where you thought you were sitting. I think your the man with the dead squirrel on his head. If not you surely are of the same genetic straight branch!

 

And, the last person that needs a media manager on the T is Barb!

Point is not who's better than who. Have swagger. Have confidence. But, a perennial program respects solid competition. I spoke to many after the game. #5's dad was one. Evidently they had better seats than you....or they actually watched the game.

 

 

I had great seats for a great game! Two great programs and solid competition for the Devils. Much respect for Giles!

And as for ol George, I sat right behind him.

It was a great game. Finally. One of the first games this year I didn't think about asking for my money back.

Great competition!

So I over stated the spankin thing.

Add the touch down taken away by a block in the back that didn't effect the play in any way. Score 49-21.

I am Devil Greene through and through but until we stopped them after we went up 35 to 21 they were a play away from being back in it. I left a lot of sweat, blood, and a few tears on that field (well the dirt beneath the carpet) but they were always one pass away from a score.

I've seen some film online, you just have to dig, scrape hunt and burrow to find it..Google is a mighty fine thang! I wouldnt go so far as to say that Giles is better, simply because it all changes week to week, but I WILL say that Giles hands down was the best team we saw all year and that includes the team that beat us and ALcoa. that's just my opinion. We'll find out where the WOOD stacks up in all that in 2 days. at this point I really dont care who's better than who, who shoulda done what in which game and how many turnovers or big plays woulda changed whatever game. I think the matchup we have is probably the one most people (outside of Giles county) wanted to see and they'll get their wish.

Greenville had us in the 4th. Our only hope was to get up 7. We couldn't get there because of the Devils. I'm sure we'll be eyeballing each other every year when the brackets come out. Our young kids got a wealth of experience playing in front of a hostile crowd. They won't face a environment like they faced last Friday. That will help them down the road.

 

Greeneville has shown they can go into the 4th tight and maintain composure to finish. This will make a difference Saturday. Maplewood has played some tough teams also. I still think its a 4 quarter game.

Hopefully I can say something without provoking another juvenile spat, and yes I am to blame.

I attended every Greeneville game this year and I agree Giles was the best we played, or, if I am to be accused of being on the band wagon, the best YOU played all year. Probably the bestsince we/you played them in cookeville.

Saying that I believe Greeneville won their second state championship last Friday.

I agree with the reading comprehension statement. I said, and you can hi-lite, "good Plays". I probably should have said "big plays".

Giles County is the best team Greeneville has faced in two years, in my opinion, and I have the utmost respect for that team. Unlike some others, Fulton for one, they didn't want to fight and get players ejected.

They are well coached and disciplined.

I wish there Quarterback would move to Greeneville next week, wow. Outstanding!

I know this will really get some panties in a wad but I would rather see a rematch of last weeks game this Saturday.

Simply because I don't know what to expect. Atleast I know it would be good.

My statement about the one running back actually came from conversation with two Greeneville staff.

I think they know that if they stop him MW doesn't have anything else Grville can't handle.

Sure, they have more but nothing we haven't already stopped.

That's all I'm saying about last weeks game.
