Name the players!

A lot of players from Austin-East's defense, several offensive and defensive players from Alcoa, and a lot of players from CAK's offense and a couple from the CAK D. Kingston had a few I would consider, as well as Sweetwater.

The MLB/RB from Milan was great too.

I'm just listing 3A teams because I'm not familiar enough with the 4A's.

Gotta throw in a plug for my boy Colby Maddux: LB (CAK) He is worthy, at least in his daddy's eyes, ha :D I like your other CAK nominees as well. Of course I think Franklin Murchinson at WR would be in there as well if he hadn't missed a couple games due to injury and its hard to imagine no one from our OL not making it as good as they have been all year.

I agree, Colby Maddox is a legit player, hard hitter, smart, tough as nails, all around! He knows what he is doing out there. Cak lost a good one, but used him wisely when they had him. Wish he could of have played more in the state game, he is the one that got them there. He finished with them. God has a plan for him.

All state is difficult to achieve even if you are worthy due to limited exposure to all the voters across the state. It helps if you are a big college recruit because you get mentioned more. At any rate, the All District team, which is voted on by the coaches, should be loaded with CAK players. In addition to the CAK players that have already been mentioned, J.Ritchie (FS), J.Henson(DE) both made huge contributions to the D when one was moved to safety about midway thru the season and the other was allowed to join the defense and play both ways. A couple D lineman improved their stock in the later half of the season as well. Regardless of the All State or All District honors there were several Warriors that stepped up their game in order to make this team state champs! Congrats again to them all.
