Any predictions on this match up...I think they play Monday..?

It'll be interesting...i'm not sure how good C'wood is but i watched PC against Scotts Hill tonight in Lexington at the Big Red Classic and they won 9-6 we had our #4 pitcher in and he gave up 4 runs (2 ER)a few hits and about 2 E's...then Tucker came in and had 1 ER and the other was Unearned (via error) but all in all they fought back from a 4-0 deficit and i think if they hit they'll be just fine...but from what i hear from C'wood they have some pop as well beat WC 17-4??? thats amazing in my book

Collinwood is primed and ready. They are hitting better than I have ever seen them. Briar Daniel & Drew Luker looked very good pitching. WC has struggled from the pitching stand point and probably walked in & hit by pitch about 7 to 9 runs Tuesday night. It was a 2 to 1 game until about the 4 inning and Cwood's bats came alive and hit everything put at them. WC could not find the strike zone with the next 2 pitchers and it got ugly.

Cwood will finish #1 in the district everybody else playing for the #2 spot.

I think Collinwood is the best team this year but don't see them going undefeated in District. They probably get the District tourny #1 seed with WC, PC and Summertown fighting for #2. Tucker is going to take a little while to get going on the mound but he will be one of the better pitchers this year. If my Vikings can score some runs, we could be dangerous. WC probably has the best hitting team so if they get their pitching and catcher situation figured out then they will be a tough out in the tournament. Summertown is summertown, enough said.

Perry Co. has 2 really good players in Grimes and Qualls. They are always tough outs. They are deep at the pitchers position and should be a tough out in the tournament. They must limit their errors to be the top team. Cwood in drivers seat, but still a few bumps in the road ahead.

    • Jason Lambert should be the only choice for the Baseball coaching position.
    • From the stats I found online it looks like Gabe Eddington- .484, 44 total hits, 43 runs scored and 42 stolen bases.Meanwhile, on the mound, the Austin Peay commit had a record of 8-2, while compiling 50 innings pitched with an ERA of 1.82. Carson Parrott - 7-0 overall as a starting pitcher with a 1.41 ERA, 95 strikeouts and a save in 53 and 1/3 innings pitched. Parrott hit .392 with 3 home runs, 21 RBIs with a .566 OBP and .716 SLG. Jaxon Walker - .454, 53 hits, 38 RBI’s, 9 HRs.   Not saying the other three aren’t deserving but Quillen had better BA than all three and was just as dominate pitching.  Like I said I don’t know how you leave off the 3a Baseball player of the year last year when he put up better numbers.  I know Greeneville’s Coach wasn’t happy about it saying “I don’t give a s*** what anybody else says. That kid is the best player in Tennessee, and everybody else on our team rises to his level“.  I’m sure winning another State Championship as a junior is more important to Carson than the individual award, it’s just a head scratcher to not be nominated
    • What coach in their right mind would want to come here and set theirself on fire to keep her warm.
    • Shoulder not going to the #### show .   Macon will name the score this year.
    • Plenty of time. The former coach was busy with family and disappeared all summer anyway. Obvious choice has the same family issues. First game is in March 2025.
