Would be a great choice for him as he will actually "learn" a lot at duke to give him a shot to get to the next level.

Agreed.

He's got a good family now and the Duke family will teach him more than just how to get to the NBA. But considering he has a great base, his dad is a wonderful guy, he will be good wherever he goes.

This list is long and probably is going to end up with UK and possibly NC Tarheels before done.

Told you this kid is an advanced natural scorer well beyond his age, everybody is finding out....kid is tearing it up at the Best Buy event this weekend......he is the top player in his class for TN and I predict he will surpass King and JW3 but who knows.....he has a legitimate chance to rise as low as top 20 or even crack the top 10.

Hubbs is a 'Natural'for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ..BTW Haddock sports are moving their Memphis tourney to DC for the 1st 2 days Jan 10th-11th > dont know exact schedule at DC.. then one game at White Station Jan 12th when Southwind is playing Chicago Simeon who supposely has the nations no.1 high school player ..I see Hubbs scoring more per game this year with the players they've lost to graduation..

Thanks yankee8589 for the info. Hubbs appears to be on everyones list now as you've stated since his freshman year . He truly is a dymanic high riser on both offense and defense,is a top-notch scholar, very excellent family ,and very unselfish team player which are all bonuses for any coach to admire .

As I am an assistant Girls basketball coach in the Memphis area, I see a ton of boys games and players. Hubbs is better any of the Memphis players. ( king, Johnson , Williams, nichols, etc) the way that he lets the game come

To him reminds me of a young Ron mercer when he was at Goodpasture way back when. He's a cant miss at a high major program in my humble opinion.

Told ya. I have seen a ton or basketball in my time and Hubbs has the attribute that all the special ones have. That's the ability to let the game to come to them. I had the opportunity to be a part of the program with two such players. Back in the early 90's, I was a part of the Boys program at Millington and saw the same attribute in Tony Dumas who went on to be a lottery pick with the Dallas Mavericks. Fast foward nearly 20 years later and as part of the Girls program I saw this same attribute in Jasmine Newsome. Newsome was the Ovc player of the year as a sophomore after scoring over 20 pts a game. She will no doubt get paid to play the game someday.
