This is an incredible scholarship for TeTe. She has the chance to earn a starting position at point guard for a Division 1 school who plays a fantastic OOC schedule. This is exactly what she wanted in a university. She will get to live in the big city like she wanted and play basketball at the division one level. Great coaching staff and awesome educational opportunity. She is very excited and ready to get started! Congrats T you deserve it! Congrats to the Lady Bison and staff as well, as they get a hard playing, hard working, hard-nosed point guard who can make an impact on their program. Look forward to seeing her in the purple and gold.....even if it is Union City's colors. lol

Congrats as well, well deserved. I will be watching expect her to start and help that team develop a winning tradition. Not sad to see her leave Lake Co. though has been a terror on District 14A teams and Coaches. Purple and Gold are some nice colors. Great all around player and great opportunity for her to succeed.

Congrats T.T. on becoming a Lady Bison.

Sure wish you had a sense for good colors.Would be nice if you could wake up and send someone to us that would look a lot better in green and gold..lol...Just messing with you.Union City should be hard to handle the next couple seasons.

      Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.

      Couldn’t agree more.. Tate is a special kinda player , but fortunately for us we get a best of 3 series. I think our pitching is better than last year when we made the trip to west tn. Should be a fun 2 or 3 games.
