Let see how far the apple has fell from the tree. Where did Marion's coach work last year? And who was his boss?

Marion County High School has self reported the same basic violation that got Lebanon High School in trouble. The TSSAA made the following quote in the Times Free Press in Chattanooga:

"Having a ball and going over formations and plays technically constitute an official practice under TSSAA rules. While teams can conduct spring practice any time from January to May, once practice officially begins those teams have 15 days to conduct no more than 10 organized practices."

I bet for every school that gets caught there are twenty to thirty more that are doing the same thing. I know coaches who have told me they will not stop working out until they get caught because other schools in their district do the same thing. The schools that have indoor facilities bend the rules doing limited practicing out of sight. Coaches work pass routes and coach behind a fence giving instructions to their players from a short distance.

As for the old ball coach: He knew exactly what he was doing. He probably did it at other schools where he coached. I guess the snakes at his previous stop are just as rotten as has been reported.

Coaches, listen up: IF YOU HAVE TO THINK ABOUT A WAY TO HIDE WHAT YOU ARE DOING IT IS WRONG AND THERE IS NO JUSTIFICATION FOR YOUR ACTIONS. IF YOU ARE GOOD AND YOU HAVE TALENT, YOU CAN WIN WITHOUT CHEATING! SET THE RIGHT EXAMPLE AND BE HONORABLE MEN.

I was reading that mess in my newspaper that Hargis man wrote about that McCurry and Zieglar man at Marion. That Zieglar man and that McCurry man know that Childress mans rules. I garuntee you this was not a mistake. What kind of mess is that? I garuntee you both of them have been coaches for a long time. They have made that Childress man real mad and he will be watching them closely. If they mess up again, that Childress man may not let them play any games this season. Since that McCurry man wont be having spring practice, he should have plenty of time to fill out his survey for my Murphy Fair book. If he doesnt do that he will make Murphy real mad and Murphy and that Childress man is the most important people with the TSAA. You think im joking but im not.

Let's see, the new Marion County football coach left Ripley, MS because of a personal matter, he was hired at Crockett Co (Alamo) but they took away the keys to the field house and asked him to leave because? Then he lands a job up on Signal Mtn and they find themselves in trouble with the TSSAA, now more trouble with the TSSAA. I'm not saying he is a bad man, it just seems that trouble follows him like the plaque. Good look Jasper, I hope you bounce back soon.
