I should also say that there's now no chance that Huntingdon comes to Quad 3. I predict Quad 3 will be:

1. Collinwood

2. Clarksville Academy

3. JB/NC Winner

4. JB/NC Loser

5. Columbia Academy

6. Wayne County

If WC were to lose you'd replace them with either Cornersville or McEwen depending on what Sunbright does. Sunbright win and it's Cornersville; Sunbright loss and it's McEwen. The matchups would be first round 1 & 2 have a bye, 3 vs. 6, & 4 vs. 5. Second round 1 vs. 4/5 winner, 2 vs. 3/6 winner.

Great game tonight VS JB both teams played very well tonight. NCS 28-27 over JB. give a lot of credit to the Jo Bryuns football team tonight they played well on both sides of the ball tonight. They really did a great job of shutting down #7 Phillip Booker on NCS. That was a really great Test for NCS tonight NCS got a feel what the playoffs will be like next week. That was defiantly a statement game for NCS going into the playoffs next week. NCS will be a very dangerous team going to the playoffs. they beat a very good JO Bryuns team that will be hard to beat in the playoffs this year for sure. I think that was a statement for NCS in quad #3 you should not overlook NCS in the playoffs this year. They might make a deep run in the Playoffs this year. finished the season 8-2 overall and 5-1 in District 10A. Good luck to all the teams from 10A that made the playoffs this year lets represent 10A very well in the playoffs this year. Should fun what happens in the playoffs this year.

here are my picks for the last week of the regular-season

NCS over JB

McEwen over CA

HC over ERHS

There are to impact games for the last two games of the Regular-Season that will shake up the playoff pistons for the 10A that are already in the first one is JB @ NCS the second one is McEwen @CA. I think that NCS will win the game over JB this Friday because of our defense of play we will be very solid on that side of the ball on friday night. JB will be great on the offense side of the ball. so if we shut them down on that side of the ball and we keep there defense on the field for a long period of time i think we will have the edge. both of these teams are very solid on both sides of the ball. I think this game will be very. this game might come down to the last possession in the 4Qr. I still think that NCS will win this big game because there a shot for the title for both teams for the 10A Champs should be a good one both teams will be in the playoffs this season.

The next impact game for 10A is McEwen @ CA way is this game so important is that if McEwen wins they will be in the playoffs and the win of NCS JB game will be the new champion. I think that McEwen will pull the up set @ CA tomorrow night why do i say this. There is so much on the line for McEwen like a playoff birth for them and extend there season. I think they will win McEwen got a lot better each week from the half way point this season. they already pulled off an Upset this year @ Houston Co. If CA over looks them and not comes to play and thinks about the playoffs next friday then CA will lose to McEwen this week. If McEwen does win it will be very close game. CA probably won't over look McEwen but if they do they better watch out because they might lose there title in 10A. I still think McEwen will win because they will want it more. good luck to all 10A football teams this friday night it will be a fun night for 10A football. the 10A regular season has been like a mini SEC conference this year for sure. It will be interesting to se how many teams that we send from 10A to the playoffs this year.

Go EAGLES!!!!!

51-0. Oops, bad call. Only thing McEwen wanted more than CA was to go home. About middle of the 2nd.

    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
    • An FYI: To see how an opponent has done against another opponent since 2001- go to the game by clicking on one of the teams. Click the G beside the game. For example, Milan: The info will show you the previous matchups and other info.
