They have given up. Coaches and Players. I saw about 3 or 4 kids that were still playing hard. About 6 starters were not even dressed (Not Sure Why). Looks like Soddy will finish 2 - 8 unless they decide to play against Warren County. You know I always complain about the coaches but someone said it right to me at the game Friday night. Quote from a Parent "We are just not very good". Coaches could help but the kids have to want it also and I saw Friday that there are only a few on the team that do want it. Some of the injured kids could have played IMO and like I said only saw about 3 or 4 kids actually giving effort. You players that do care keep fighting dont ever give up. Well I am not going to post anymore because Soddy has enough problems without me on here ranting about all the negatives. Good Luck Trojans, Stay Strong!!!

Don't give up dude...... Soddy is a great school with a strong tradition. I will not go into detail (can't) but help is on the way. We at East Hamilton started with nothing and we were everybodys whipping boys. Trust me Soddy will return to being a good team. The right man at the right job will produce the right results.

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
