T$$AA website has Peabody as alternate site. T$$AA controls region tournament so not sure if it will go to the #1 seed or not. Pretty sure Board or Legislative Council votes on the site.

I kinda figured that it would be back at Trenton if District 14A was to sweep.Hear McKenzie and Dresden have good ball clubs. So may be a tall order.

Also heard that if all the teams sweep then the number 3 and 4 teams ,Lake Co and South Fulton would play at either Humboldt or Union City with the top seed playing the number 4 seed and 2 vs 3.If that is true, may be just as good if District 13A wins at least one.But hopefully not against Lake Co..lol..May be better to just make the long drive to Huntingdon on a neutral court than to have to play UC or Humboldt in a loser go home game on their home floor.

Congrats to Humboldt on beating UC for the district tourney championship. Also, congrats to South Fulton on beating Lake Co. for 3rd place. We've got 4 strong teams going to the Regional Tourney. I just wish Greenfield could've been with yall....we beat Humboldt and Lake Co. twice during the regular season....but, it didnt happen...so, I'm hoping that all of our District 14A teams do good in the Regionals and beyond, because I really think it'll be 2 14A teams coming out of the Regional.....

Zay coleman had 3 fouls in the first quarter I believe and had 4 in the third quarter.Really wasnt very upset with the loss as I was hoping Union City would win and put LC and UC in opposite brackets but UC blew a 12 point lead in the 4th quarter..But LC has a good McKenzie team to play and they'd better bring it.Key to the games now is keeping Devon Jones and Zay Coleman out of foul trouble.Devon sat a lot of the game against Humboldt and Zay sat against South fulton. They have to be on the floor. If Lake Co were to meet UC again, the Twisters have better shooters but I still feel like LC can win if they go down low to Devon Jones as UC has no height.Just have to defend better and hope Zay plays well.UC has a couple players that dont seem to be very good free throw shotters in Lewis, who missed several against South Fulton and number 1,believe it is Simpson, who missed several against Humboldt last night, and could have sealed the win for UC had he converted. But may not get a chance at UC again.anyway .Good luck to all the district 14A teams

Coach of the Year - John Glisson of Bradford.

Told my buddy last night that I thought he or the Greenfield coach would win it.Bradford was much improved and Greenfield finished 2nd in the district.Cant argue either way.Coleman from Lake Co and Bradford from Humboldt were named the Co-MVP's.Cant argue with that either

Hate to say it but after Friday night I predict district 14A will be the only district left playing basketball, in the boys side of it anyway. Mckenzie is the class of the field in district 13 and might have a shot at winning but I personally dont see any of the teams from 13 playing after Friday.

Actually Bigster, Simpson is a better freethrow shooter than he displayed in the 4th quarter last night.Lewis is not a good free throw shooter, but everyone else has been. The last 2 games at Trenton have not been.I actually think that we are in a better bracket.I dont want to play SF again in a loser go home game.LC is a scary team also. SF point guard ,thats a sophomore, didnt play against LC last night. So they will have 4 starters back next year as will UC and Humboldt.

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
