I've heard good things about him and I believe your team is a good one. It's too bad that your team has no confidence in their ability to beat HC because this would be the year to do it. We are a VERY YOUNG team that will be MUCH BETTER next year and I still expect us to go deep in the playoffs this year...maybe all the way. It will be TOUGH and right next to IMPOSSIBLE for ANYONE to beat us twice this year.

Red Warrior you are the reason I do not like the Henry County fan base. I have attended many HC vs. DC football, basketball and softball games over the last 30 years and throughout the last 30 years it has always been the same. Obnoxious arrogance from the Henry Co. side of the field. Most of the HC fan base have no regards for the kids that are playing the game. It is all about the adults and their so called "pride" and must win attitude. This is a game for the kids to play. Both teams are eager to win. Both coaching staffs want a W in the Win column. However some people want to act like teenagers themselves and say derogatory remarks about 15-17 year old young men. These players are kids. Please don't disrespect them and make comments like the ones you made. (They know they can't win). It is a game. It is a rivalry. But at the end of the night someone will win and someone will lose. One team will be happy and one team will be sad. Will it end the world? NO!! Will it matter in 10 years? 20 years? No!!! Unless you are a HC fan. Good luck to both teams.

Now I detect a little sarcasm...which will get me back to my old aggressive self (but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and try to behave). My point is grade school or not these teammates talk to one another through the years and losing BIG to Henry County can become a habit and can become expected. It's a game DC does NOT expect to win these days, which gives us a huge advantage in a game like this year's game which is actually pretty evenly matched.

 

The "smoke screen" matters very little in the grand scheme of things, you are wrong this time; it will be a good game as long as HC keeps it close but a mistake here and there and DC will burry them. Either way, I believe DC will pull it out this time b/c they are a little more balanced and over-all better than I thought they were this year.....

 

He is far from a quarterback. I think he is going to play as a d-back at UT.

 

Actually believe it or not, UT is planning on bulking him up a little and playing him at outside LB. If you see him w/ his pads off he is already pretty stocky w/ a good build to pack on some more muscle, heck of an athlete.....

This post is way off base. All teams have a few of those fans but Patriot Stadium is one of the friendlier places for opposing teams and tailgate with the HC faithful. HC fans will feed anyone and love nothing more than talking football.

How about those Inman Bulldogs winning their playoff game Tuesday night! They play Union City in the semis Tuesday night in Paris at 6:30. Hats off to the Inman coaches and players!
