What say you? Central gonna win out and better last year by one win or wind up the same as last year? Or worse even? Staff the same next year? Looking for thoughts and insight.

Central has a good Coach and they will only get better. He has high stadnards and high expectations. Those that can't live with that should leave. The ones that tough it out will be all the better for it.

Central should win this game...can't look at next week but if I were a betting man, I'd say playing @Hixson will be a bigger challenge ...you never know what's going on in the locker room and only time will tell about who will return or leave...bottom line: the Coach will have to play with the cards that are dealt to him and keep moving the program forward!!!

I do think Central will win this game. Central will also play well vs. Hixson. I do Think your head coach will return next year, don't know about some of the asst. Unless he jumps ship and heads to Soddy, that will be a open postion very shortly. Brown, and Hunter middle were pretty good this year, need to grab them early and get them ready for high school ball, keep those kids at Central and yall should be very competive. Keep an eye on Hunter kids most end up at Ooltewah no matter where they live.

central has enough talent to win out but the playing is the real question. and it's been the problem all year i do expect changes with the assi. coaches this off season don't know if allen ready to jump ship yet but i will say this "a man's track record speaks for it's self" and he has been known to jump ship or pull the lane kiffin when things havn't went the way he has expected it to. either way it go's it wouldn't bother me if he stayed or if he left. so we shall see!!!

no names... just been hearing coach allen say big changes are coming next year and usually when a coach say's that coaching staff starts to look a little different then it did before. maybe i'm just jumping the gun...

I know the Pioneers have struggled this year but don't close the door on them yet. They are still fighting every week. Were up on Hixson early but young teams struggle when things go bad. This is a very young Pioneer team. Only 7 seniors on roster and only 4 combined returning starters, 2 on each side of the ball. They might not have enough experience yet but last week they learned how to compete for 4 quarters. As a fan and former player i am impressed with the direction of the program under first year coach Tracy Malone. Central better be ready to play for 4 quarters is all i have to say!! Go Pioneers!!

no names... just been hearing coach allen say big changes are coming next year and usually when a coach say's that coaching staff starts to look a little different then it did before. maybe i'm just jumping the gun...

 

i have not heard anything about changes but i would guess all of them but Coach Lewis could be on the chopping block. Then again the big changes maybe going to the pistol and spread. he hinted that to me early in the year this year. I just don't see him getting totally away from his bread and butter though.

 

Next years team may not be any better off, almost no junior class. i think there are 8 total juniors on the team now and only a couple of them play. but lots of sophomores and a hand full of freshman are starting now.

 

 

as for tonight's game, just depends on what Central team shows up. I will go out on a limb and say Central wins on the road because they seem to be a much better road team.
