The tssaa is a joke they are a union paying their own salarys. Dyersburg is the 6 th highest qualifier in the whole state! And will get 5 or maybe 6 seed behind teams with 1 to 5 more loses! It's not about being fair it's about the money for them! And more games means more money for tssaa not the schools. 8 and 2 last yr no home playoff game. 9 and one possibly this year no home playoff game. Proof is in the puddin!

Right now, at this moment in time, if the playoffs started this Friday. Quad 1 would have 2 district champions in it. Quad 2 would have 4 district champions in it. Quad 3 would 2 district champions in it. Quad 4 would have 3 district champions. I was told its not records its subjective. Its geography and he is right. So I throw out the records, should I also throw out if you win your district? This is lineing up to get certain teams a home game in the playoffs so that they will get a cash flow. Really: Dekalb, Giles East Ham all in the same quad? 3 of the 4 highest qualified teams in the same quad?

Ha so now after weeks of having DeKalb in Quad 1 they now move them to Quad 2. I addressed this a couple of weeks ago and the TSSAA could have addressed it then and now everyone will be confused.

OK, so there is a very good chance that a 10-0 Dekalb and Giles and a 9-1 East Ham could be in the same quad? If so there is no question its there hardest in the state. Edited by chattacane

It is what it is! Heck of a three games for Giles, Dekalb or East Ham Vs. what Greeneville has to go thru. Somebody taking care of the 2 in a row State champions. I know its about geography. Oh wait Giles is a quad 3 school, but lets bring in a quad 4 school to be quad 3 #1 seed. And sure the trip from Dekalb to Giles is just down the road. Not railing on you Gerry, its what they give you. Can't wait for the Greeneville fans to jump on here and justify this, and how they deserve the #2 seed.

Looks like DeKalb will stay in Quad 2 win or lose.

Chattacane, do you not understand the Quad system? There are no true Quad 1 schools, Quad 2 schools and so on. It is all based on what 32 teams qualify for the playoffs. Then the TSSAA starts in the East and heads West putting teams into Quads. Tell me what team could take Giles place in Quad 2?
