I think it is the top two overall. This same thing is hitting Dyersburg, who is 9-1 and going to be a 6 seed out of 8 in the quad. Go figure.

Hey coach, Jon was probably as excited as anybody last night as time ticked down. I'm proud of the guys for getting back to the playoffs!

 

Thanks to everyone for the congrats.

 

Several big plays last night. The 33 yard field goal into the wind, faking the extra point to go up 11 instead of 10. LC fumbled the second half kickoff.

 

The falcons came out in the wildcat in the 3rd much like they had done against south Fulton. We did a good job stopping it and forced them to start throwing.

 

Biggest thing was after LC scored and the onside kick was short we milked the last 5:45 of the game with our O on the field. We never put a receiver on the file that possession and LC wasn't able to stop us with 11 in the box.

 

Proud of the guys. This place is going to erupt if we are home next week; oddly enough it has been 22 (TWENTY TWO) years since we hosted. That's just way too long for us not to host a playoff game. Glad we made good on our last year in A ball (stupid tssaa).

 

Congrats again.Had forgot about the onside kick.I wasnt sure it was a fumble.Looked like to me it was a high kick for about 14 yards and two LC players were looking right at the ball with one of them being a starting running back,But another player was closer to the ball.And they just let the ball fall to the ground and Halls recovered.Also late in the game,two of LC's fastest players were back for a kick and a good return could have been big at the time and Halls kicked one of those low flat forward punts that either player had plenty of time to run up and get the ball for a good return but both watched the ball bounce for an extra 12 yards.Did the same thing in the Humboldts game on a couple returnable punts Unless LC makes a couple changes on defense the coaches have to realize they aer not going to be a decent team.Quit playing kids because you may go to church or best friends with their Daddy. Hope Halls goes a long way.

have you asked coach about the secondary? I'm positive the LC coaches are more qualified than you to make that decision. It sounds like, from some of your comments , that you may have a family member not playing. Man up and meet with coach instead of cowardly being an anonymous entity on a message board. Thats whats wrong with our society. Lack of intestinal fortitude. My brother is one heck of a coach and I guarantee he plays the kids that DESERVE to play. If you don't like it, man up and speak with him face to face.

The kids that play in the secondary are young players who will get better. If someone on the sidelines were better they would be playing. The falcons have been saddled with a rash of injuries this year and have not overcome them. The majority of the team plays with heart sometimes things do not go to plan. As a team, the falcons are not playing well right now but they are in the post season. All teams have an 0-0 record. Falcons have a uphill battle at Huntingdon but anything is possible. Maybe the falcons will play lights out and surprise people. I will be there regardless of what happens. Bigster, you know better than to come on here and call kids out. You are better than that. You know they are playing as hard as they can. Man just support them and know that they are giving their best effort.
