Oh, and Congrats to Coach Clark, TN Titans coach of the week for DB's victory over SH on Friday. This epic game even got attention past Knoxville.

CGC will get a to watch the Titans take on Jax later in the season (not sure if that is reward or punishment icon_e_wink.gif ), and $1000 donated in his honor to the Titans Foundation.

Yeah, thats pretty awsome. I think thats the second time he has been named coach of the week by the Titans.

Good post,Thanks for the insight. I was wandering when a Bulldog fan would give out some info. Are any colleges looking at the Trent Waters kid. I think I seen him at the OR vs. Maryville game but could have been mistaken. Either way the Indians know they have their hands full a will not overlook this strong Bearden team.

Waters is being recruited as a running back, Fullback, and a linebacker......just depends on the school. He's friends with my son and from what I'm told doesn't care really what position just wants to play. He's being recruited by Arkansas, Louisville, Tennessee, Clemson, MTSU, UNLV, UTC, Miss St., Carson Newman and my son said some smaller schools but those are the ones that might interest you guys. My son said there' a article here http://www.louisville.Unapproved Website/default.asp?type=2 and here http://www.arkansas.Unapproved Website/content.asp?CID=1425567 that tell you more about this kid.

Boy the songs that Miller played, songs that made the hit parade, guys like us we had it made, those were the days. And you knew who you were then, girls were girls and men were men. Mr., we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again. Didn't need no welfare state, everybody pulled his weight, gee our old Lassale ran great....those were the days.

    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching stuff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching stuff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
    • This whole situation is bonkers. You don’t just kick your star player off the team just because you heard them say the F word; the coach definitely had something against the player, or somebody definitely did. Also, nobody has brought up the idea that the school blackmailed the college to get the college to withdraw the scholarship offer, not to mention that the coach who kicked her off is no longer even with the program; they were fired. I think this is a pretty easy lawsuit. I don’t know if she should deserve that much money, but I think she should get enough money for a full-ride scholarship if she cannot get one after this situation.
    • Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.
