3wiggle
Where was your crew from. We had a NET crew at MHS and they did a nice job. I don't know where they were from but, they sure were in a hurry to get home. They didn't call anything on anyone, both sides. They just ran up and down the field and spotted the ball. 3wiggle
I was extremely disappointed with the turn out from Oak Ridgers. The stands weren't even full. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!!!!! This city isn't what it used to be.

voltnh
Ya , it's funny how that " normal caliber " is harder to achieve when you go up against a team with Athletes just as good or even better than what you have .... Congrats to the Cats for gettin er dun !! Look forward to seeing you guys again next week !! You're making assumptions that the facts (at least the ones I have from the radio broadcast) and you're not giving me credit for what I did say. You'll see that I said Oak Ridge controlled the line of scrimmage, evident by OR's offensive numbers and Reed Hayes being sacked more times in this game than he has all season. Also, Reed Hayes missed open receivers on several occasions and there were several dropped passes that should have been caught. The way it came across on the radio broadcast is that OR had left openings for SH to make some important plays, but they didn't make them. You'll notice that I nowhere stated that this is why SH lost. It is my opinion that SH wasn't playing their "A" game, at least on the offensive side of the ball. Still, Oak Ridge played well enough to win and SH didn't; simple as that. Edited November 3, 2012 by voltnh

voltnh
Hayes is a special player. I thought he carried the team tonight, stood tall in the pocket and made great decisions. I agree. It might seem like I'm down on him, it's just that I've seen what he can do. No doubt, he's done more at QB for SH this year than I or anyone else could have hoped for. Would have liked to see what he could have done if he had been started prior to this year. UT's baseball coach has said they'll let him play football if he wants, so we may see him on the football field again down the road.

I listened to it on the Radio too , but what I "SAW" was Oak Ridge playing some great defense . lol

SH had no running game at all except for Hayes who seemed to keep plays alive all night long. There were some big hits tonight.

AlumnI01
Great season for the Toppers comes to an end. The team, especially the Seniors, should be very proud of all the accomplished this season. They certainly have nothing to hang their heads about. I wasn't able to attend the game as I am out West on business but it sounds like it was a good one. Time for basketball, Topper Nation! Congratulations to Oak Ridge Edited November 3, 2012 by AlumnI01

SweetScience
Maybe Hayes was missing open Receivers all night because Oak Ridge's defensive line was in his face all night and then some! If it wasn't for Hayes making plays with his legs all night this wouldn't have even been a game, to be honest. #52 had if i counted correctly at least 4 or 5 sacks, which would bring his totals to dang near 20 sacks on the year. If he doesn't get All State something is terribly wrong. And SH had no answer for Rian Hall. What an athlete he is. Win or lose next week @ Murvil i am very proud of our kids. Showed tremendous heart all night. Thought we actually left a few scores out there on the field tonight, too. OR's defensive line wore out SH's OL all night long and made them like it. Anyways, good game SH. Don't think we won't rub it in a bit, though considering how most of ya'll said it wouldn't even be close.
