No, an opinion doesn't make a person a moron, but having a moronic opinion does. So you Coach 6 to 10 year olds then continue the process into club, I DID, G does, CC step up and got alot of kids involved in club, Champs did nothing but had his wife take his daughter to club practices.....you get the point.....No imagine you don't.

MVM- really going to call me out like that?

Wow, Booger your record posting really proved a point.... All of the teams at DeKalb made it to about the same point in the post season (except our football team, which isn't finished yet). Sure the Men's Soccer record doesn't look as good, but look at who we played and the fact that we won the district championship. we play the best teams we can schedule and work every bit as hard as any team in the state. I love how you think you can pull up one years records and judge how good of a coach someone is. I rememebr when alot of people posted on this site, but now its really just Private school fans, wonder why? Probably got tire of being rudely bullied by the swarm of Chattanoogans.popcorneater.gif

do not think he won anything; nothing invested and geographically misplaced......White House was something PUBLICALLY for him to cling too........this was a win by BDP; and win they did, because they were a better team......dedication, patience and good coaching with a pretty impressive supporting cast of those noisey rocks in a bottle earned them that winthumb[1].gif .....one would have had to be present to appreciate what a great job those girls did.......I am built for this, and the great thing is I get to go through this all again next year; and the next; and the nexticon_twisted.gif

Booger luv him sum Irish Soccer!

Wow, Do I have a lot to say.... So much that I am struggling to find my voice. LOL

First, I must admit the hospitality of the Chattanoogans was impressive. Champs, Cannon, and even Booger thanks for the dose of Ol' fashioned southern hospitality. The comments about our team have been nice to read.

Second, one thing that this weekend proved, White House, lived up to their hype... (hype provided by MCHS and Myself). As I have said WH has belonged on this stage for at least 2 years, probably 3. In 2010, they were upset in the regional semis by Lipscomb. Lipscomb was a team they had beaten in the regular season in a 1-0 match that wasn't really that close. The region semi was a nail biter all the way, but WH controlled that match as well, but just couldn't finish. In 2011, they were denied access, by CPA in that same regional semifinal. The fact that CPA was victim of a MAJOR upset in their district final by Hume Fogg was the only reason we were not here last year. WH had dominated Hume Fogg 4-1, tied CPA 1-1, and beat CPA 1-0 all in the regular season.

That leads me to my third point. These young ladies had one goal this season, History WILL NOT repeat itself. You are all soccer parents, so you know the level of effort it takes to succeed. So I am not going to dwell on the details, but they achieved their goal and much more. I am so proud of these young ladies! I can bet ya, nobody will ever underestimate WH again. Right, Irish fans?

Fourth point. (Yep still going) Last night was a tough one! Last one for my senior daughter! It had to end sometime, right? Well she said it all as far as I was concerned right after the game... "Dad, I am fine with it, I did ALL I could do. They were just better. NOT MUCH, but they were better." ........She never shed a tear. Words cannot express how proud I am of that young lady...

Fifth Point.....LOL... CAK is number one in the state for a reason, and tomorrow they will be crowned again. IMHO. Best team we have played this year. Maybe Brentwood was better, but we had 5 players out so I don't really know, and they are AAA.

Sixth Point... All A/AA tournament team from what I saw (didn't see Elizabethton or Sacred Heart) and no offense intended to anyone's kid.... This is what I saw...

Laura Champion, Notre Dame

Emma Higgins, Notre Dame

Laura Morse, CAK

Addy Cronan, CAK

#13, CAK, Defender who man-marked Kendall Morrison all game

Lindsay Curtis, CPA

Micki Dye, CPA

Kara Wegner, CPA

Kendall Morrison, White House

Kate Carney, White House

Goalkeeper, Mollie Curtis, White House

Seventh and FINAL point: (for now)

My somewhat final A/AA Rankings, prior to finals being played....

1. CAK

2. White House

3. CPA

4. Notre Dame

5. CCS

Lol....had to do it, but I think that the CPA parents who stayed and cheered for CAK knew who they didn't want to play again...and if any of em have a problem with it, I know where there is a field with 2 goals and I have a ball...

BDP....OOOOOH RAAAAAH

DC out

Well stated, DC.

I was getting texts from my CAK connections, and I can tell you, they all said that it was a tough match.

I coached most of these CAK girls in middle school, they have such drive and talent. I am sure you feel the same about the WH girls, as well.

Congrats on a fine season, and I wish your daughter good luck with the rest of her senior year. Is she thinking of playing somewhere next year?

Thank you , G

Well she has said for about a year and a half that she did not want to play after HS. Suddenly, she has decided now that she loves it too much to quit and is now furiously trying to make some contact with coaches. She is furious that she waited so long to do so and now is behind the eight ball.... Somehow this is all my fault....

Anyone know of a school in search of an intimidating, fearless keeper, with a big foot??

It is amazing how some Christians can act so "un-Christian" at a soccer match. It would be interesting to be there today for the A/AA championship game.

Look for the teams that are replacing coaches that have moved on their own and have taken their recruits with them first. Then look at the schools that have replaced a coach for poor performance. Considering the upside down year a lot of programs had, that should keep you busy.

Coach Moodie at Carson Newman might be interested. He is rebuilding the women's team and might be looking for a keeper.

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
