Halls @ West Carroll....in Round 2

Halls takes care of business with Gleason and moves on to play at West Carroll. Can West Carroll defend their turf with a strong statement, or has Halls arrived? What do you think? I'm going to hold off on my prediction until hear from some teams that have experience with both of these teams this year.

West Carroll has too strong of a well balanced team.. halls doesn't have enough to shut down the option attack nor the offense to break the tough defense of the eagles . My guess is a one sided game for WC

WC wins handily they wont be able to stop that option too many weapons for WC and the D has been playing well lately

If this were earlier in the season I wouldnt give Halls a chance. But this team has found something that can be dangerous in the playoffs. They have found some continuity and heart. They believe they can win. Im not convinced they can get the job done but.....I wouldnt be surprised to see them make some noise here/ WC wins pulling away in the 4th qtr.

Well I'm stoked to a) make the playoffs and still be around after the first round.

 

Our D has to be better in Atwood than in Gleason. The matchup against the Dogs was in our favor and I was a homer this past week in picking us to win. I need to do some more research on West Carroll other than what I already know such as the wins against Huntingdon and McKenzie.

 

One thing that duck mentioned in another thread, we have confidence now and are playing with heart (and I can contest that is a BIG change for us).

 

The "name" Union City or Trenton or Humboldt scares the begezus out of our kids before we ever get in the bus...taking a bunch of beatings to them over the years will do that to your psyche. Not knowing much about WC could be a big plus for us as stupid as that sounds.

Well wc has plenty of size on the line and plenty of speed in the backfield.. run the triple option with variation plays.. defense can get pretty nasty.. up front are some big boys who can move and back deep are some guys who like to pick six

How many times have u seen wc play? Because the qb isn't even the leading rusher.. and he doesn't throw very much.. if anyone is the guy to stop its the fullback who has near 1000 this year

WC has a stable of players. Under rated just like last year.

Our players definitely are underrated but wc has been getting quite the recognition from within the small area.. just not enough credit..
