Jacket, from what I've heard and saw on coacht, that Fairview has developed a trio of running backs in #10, #21, and #22. I can't remember from week 0 but did #4 have any touches?

We will need all of these guy's biggest and best effort Friday night.

For CC, it will be stepping up on defense and being able to get off the field and let the O take the game over.

 

For FV, it will be slowing down CC's offense, and making big plays on special teams and offense.

I think CC will have to limit Fairview touches on offense and cause some turn overs. Also try and contain #21 if all possible.. I think Fairview will have to be able to win the battle of the trenches, nobody has done it yet. If they don't, I think CC has great shot at winning. That would help keep Fairview offense on the sidelines.. That's just my thoughts and there normally wrong lol

The Cubs will have to tackle well in space. Moore and Franklin (along with Derrick and Wall) are athletes and if you are going to have any kind of success against Fairview you have to tackle those guys before they get going. That cost Smith County's defense on a couple of occasions last week (namely when FHS went for it on 4th & 3 from their own side of the field and threw a 5 yard route that turned into a 50+ yard score when the Owls defensive back missed a tackle on the outside).

This Cub offensive has been non-stop since week 0. I sure do hope Fairview is prepared, whether we are the underdogs, or we are supposed to win. I'm sure Coach Finley at Cheatham is gonna get these boys prepared.

The Jackets looked focused and sharp, yesterday at practice. Final walk thru this afternoon, then it's on. I hope these Jackets can derail that freight train that's been rolling in Ashland City. Jacket Pride!

That's great jacket.. The cubs also looked sharp all week..I really think it's gonna come down to who can hold on to the ball and when the battle at line if scrimmage.. Good luck to you again my friend, just to bad we gotta do it again this early but that's the way it goes! Cub nation
