Good Night for Blount County Girls in 4AAA

Lost both games but still a "good night for BC ball".....both teams held up well.

Heritage had game won; up 4 with 1:30 and on double bonus. Should have held ball and

waited on foul instead of driving to basket. This happened twice and allowed Bearden to regain lead.(of course its easier to play and coach from the upper deck).

Heritage is still a dangerous team in region!

William Blount stayed even with a much bigger and older Farragut thru 3 quarters.

Region opponents better not relax cause they apply alot of pressure!

Notes:

  • Both these BC teams will be better next year barring transfers and injuries. Maybe 1 senior starter between the 2 teams.
  • Farragut will lose alot but they always have plenty of good ones waiting
  • Bearden does not lose anyone(i think) 2 freshman posts will be a force for 3 more years!
  • Maryville will be good again, look for a very good group coming in.

I just hope close loses, makes you better. If that's the case Heritage will be fine

William Blount played very good Congratulations

Farragut Played very good Congratulations

Now off to the Regions

District 4 could have rematches AGAIN (that would be Awesome)

I am hearing two different dates on Starting one is on CoachT Friday and the coaches say Monday

Does anybody have the true scoop

Thanks

Not sure about the times but for sure you have Farragut hosting Hardin Valley and Bearden hosting Oak Ridge on Friday night.

If tonights District 3-AAA championship goes like expected and Anderson County takes care of Powell, you will have Heritage traveling to Anderson County and WB traveling to Powell.

This sets up for a very good possibility of a complete replica of the District 4-AAA "final 4". Heritage matches up very well with AC so do not be suprised if they pull the upset, it will just come down to which team is making the 3. Both teams have the ability to shoot the ball very well. WB drew a very good matchup in Powell. Farragut, Bearden, and WB should advance unless something crazy happens, which at this time of the year they do happen.

Well. It does look like Monday night will be a good night for some Blount County girls as Heritage will trounce Bearden! It is astonishing the Lady Mountaineers, who are larger, more athletic, and more skilled than that under-sized maroon bunch, ever lost to Bearden this season. However, the Dog-girls will soon be put out of their misery and Heritage will move on for the moment.

Therefore, it will be a better night for the Lady Ads who are going to destroy Powell before moving on to their coronation as Region 2 Champions! At most Heritage's girls get a trip to scenic Science Hill.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
