Dual Rankings people...and yes great job by the Cleveland Blue Raiders on a 2nd place finish at McCallie with 2 starters out of the tournament placing behind a very tough Archer (GA) team.

Anyone that would like to take over the Dual Rankings next year, please send me an e-mail so that you can take them over next season.

As far as bias...here are my rankings from Monday Dec 24th for D-1:

1. Soddy Daisy <Region 4 ~ regions are listed for duals>

2. Cleveland <Region 4>

3. Wilson Central <Region 5>

4. Heritage <Region 3>

5. Bradley Central (moved up 1 spot) <Region 4>

6. Blackman (moved up 1) <Region 5>

7. Pigeon Forge (moved up 8) <Region 2 ~ small school>

8. Walker Valley (moved up 1) <Region 4>

9. Franklin (moved down 5) <Region 6>

10. Brentwood (moved down 2) <Region 6>

11. Cookeville (moved down 1) <Region 5>

12. Hixson (moved up 1) <Region 5 ~ small school>

13. Clarksville (moved down 2) <Region 7>

14. Beech (moved down 3) <Region 7>

15. Science Hill (moved down 1) <Region 1>

16. Centennial <Region 6>

17. Collierville <Region 8>

18. Dickson Co <Region 7>

19. Ravenwood <Region 6>

20. Dobyns Bennett (wasn't ranked) <Region 1>

21. Jefferson Co (moved down 1) <Region 1>

22. Germantown (moved up 2) <Region 8>

23. Greeneville (moved down 2) <Region 1 small school>

24. Arlington (was not ranked) <Region 8>

25. Houston (was not ranked) <Region 8>

As far as Middle Tennessee area goes, only one team moved up and it was Blackman (1 spot) by virtue of Franklin (another MT area team) moving down 5 spots. By region breakdown one could say I have a bias for Region 4, with 4 of the top 8 teams hailing from that region...but then again, that is where the dual power lies and has shown from this season (and many in the past).

If you disagree with my reasoning for rankings (which is shown after EACH team's ranking on the detailed rankings) then by all means disagree and publicly post such. But to say I am biased and not give any reference as to why is rather petty and at minimum unfair. If my rankings are not appreciated, I will just stop doing them. My wife would be happy that I am no longer spending 8-12 hours each week on research to aid in said rankings.

Regards.
