Old Pirate says the Warriors were obviously the better team and the RBs will wear some folkes done. Zeman is the key to the success and Shoemaker provides a great combo. Congrats to the Warriors on earholing them Chiefs!

Really impressed by the play of the warriors last night. They played we'll as a team and also looked like everyone of them have grown a littlebit in the off season. There is still a lot of room for improvement. I'm looking forward to seeing how this season turns out!

No wonder that durn McKinney man left if those North Jackson boys could not beat many 1A teams. They are a durn 4A team. Piratemike, how big of a boy is this Henderson boy? This Moore man better train our boys on how to tackle better than Grider did or we might get beat by this McCurry man. You think im joking but im not.

As expected it looks like a great season on the horizon for Marion County. They will be one of the top 4 teams in 2A for the next 2-3 seasons.

Two to three consecutive state semi-final appearances for Marion. A bold prediction Mr Ambassador. Hope you're correct but I'll have to see some actual game time performances before I go that far. I still believe their defense might be a little suspect. We'll see. First game at Grundy will be pivotal I think. Just a little worried that regular season schedule might not prepare them for playoff competition. Marion will beat SP this year; Mr Legit should bring his crying towel.

Grundy County, or anyone else, will be able to stop Blake, Deion, or Hamilton. The offensive line should be the best they have had since 2008. With the schedule Marion has I see at least 9 mercy rule games and possibly even those dreaded Pirates as well. Marion will not get a good test until at least the Quarter-Finals and maybe the Semi-Finals day after Thanksgiving. Anyone want to bet?
