Who are the top 20 with most career wins in tn... I know Michael hooker is first

You would have to say Matt Keller (Bradley Central) & Phillip Simpson (MBA) are near the top. Others may include: Casey Brewster (Overton), Zack Watson (Baylor), Campbell Lewis (Soddy Daisy), Jake Yost (Soddy Daisy), & Zac Daily (Mt. Juliet).

I think many will be surprised if someone actually takes the time to put these numbers together. No one questions Michael Hooker being first. The ones listed above did not loose very often, but there are others with a few losses that wrestled very many matches. The programs who always wrestle deep into the state duals and also constantly wrestle quad dual matches will have an advantage here.

bbb's list is a good start. McTorrey was 1st until Hooker broke his record.

TIM VOILES had over 200 and even though bond Davis had more wins he was 0-3 (on the Tssaa books) in the state finals.

I would be surprised to see many Bradley Wrestlers on this list. One thing I have learned being in Middle TN is that most schools wrestle Tri or Quad Meets. Bradley in the past usually wrestled a dual for most home matches . Also, Bradley used to attend 2 day tournaments which now it is rare to find a 2 day tournament (took away an extra date to wrestle 5 extra matches) . If you ever listened to records at the State Finals most Bradley Kids wrestled 30-40 total matches and everyone else seemed to have 40-60 matches

Michael Hooker broke Alex Manley's (Baylor) record last year. Manley had 228, Hooker surpassed that with his win in finals of the Clinch Gear Prep Slam.

Ty Cody at Science Hill had 212

Bo Usary at Science Hill had 207

Justin Snyder at Science Hill had 205

 

We benefited from the 8th graders being able to wrestle.

When hooker beat the record in Atlanta last year the announcer announced it to everyone and gave him standing applause very classy even for people who had no clue who he was
