Friendship Christian officially in Div II in basketball

Jackson County exercised some demons tonight beating the private school and officially sending them to Div II in basketball from now on! JC started hot going on an 11-0 run to start the game but FC came back with a 22-2 run to end the half up 22-13. After halftime though it was all JC as they refused to lose to the private school again. Coach Flynn had a come to Jesus halftime speach and the boys responded. A very satisfying victory for this program. Congrats boys and now its on to Monday for a matchup with the private school girls and the big blue machine better known as the Lady Bluuuuuuuueee Devilllllsssss of Jackson County Highhh!!!! Nothing sweeter than a sweep of the private school and ending their seasons!

Congrads to JCounty for the win. I know I was glad to see Friendship finally put out early. Didnt witness the PC game but seems like 7A was close to the sweep. everyone missed a heck of a game in Gordonsville. I've not seen a game that good in a very long time.

Be careful what you wish for. You might see Goodpasture next year and they will be loaded.

No, I wasn't at the PC game, Pickett just seemed to come up short all year long.

Good job to JC, you beat our worst team in who knows how long by only a few points, be proud. Now we get to play America's past time. Goodpasture is gonna be better then us at most sports each year so you won't be so happy we left about this time next year.

The only difference here is they are only here for 4 years because of the "Ronnie Carter" clause he put in before exiting T $$ AA. After that they have to move up to AA where every other 650+ enrollment school is and you can rest assured I will be on it as soon as someone says one word about how good they are!

They don't count elementary school students. Our high school enrollment is 200 +/-.
