I just thought about it, but I coached against this Upperman senior class when they were in 6th grade and it was a similar result.

They were loaded with athletes then and it seems it hasn't changed.

It's just week 0, this is a special bunch in Upperman this year, we'll know more as the season progresses, but after the overall showing tonight, I don't know if I'd put us in the Top 10.

I hear gordonsville suffered some nasty injuries? I hate to hear that coming from week 0. Hope its nothing serious and your guys can get back on the field asap.

My hats off the Gordonsville. They already play 2a Freindship and 3a Smith outside the didstrict. They choose to play 3a Upperman. Bottom line was the were slower, smaller, weaker. Upperman had a diffrent O and D and lots of depth. To much for a rebuilding year 1a program. I was supprised. The qb York  is a studd. Must have had 175 rushing and 250 passing.....like 3 pass td's , 2 run td's.....he is legit.
