What do y'all think about this game? Will the pioneers be able to get that first win in several years? They have finally got a coaching staff that seems to have given the program some energy. What are y'all's thoughts?

Come on guys... Surely some of you football gurus out there have an opinion on this one. I really feel like the pioneers will end the losing streak and get a good start to season.

Gibson county usually has good players and with energy could be dangerous. This could be tough for the first win though. Scotts hill has been improving last couple years. Good luck and hope GC gets the win.

Something that Gibson hasn't had in years past that they do have this year is speed. If the defense comes to play, Gibson can win. The team has progressed well from scrimmage to scrimmage and competed well with Lake Co. in the jamboree. If the offense can sustain drives without turnovers and the defense can get timely stops, we can definitely win this game!

Can't wait for Friday night. I will say this. The kids have not been this excited to get started for a long time!!! Hopefully this will be the year that we turn things around. I definitely think we have a coaching staff in place that can make it happen.
