I wondered why he didn't get as many.

That's why I asked if SC showed their entire hand.  I don't know. Maybe thinking that they would be keying on him, but that didn't seem to be the case...... who knows.

Croz......you watched.........what's your take?

When you have a back like Manning, and even Gregory, you get them the ball. That didn't happen.

I did notice Manning played defense too.

I think Gville will see some different things than what was showed at Alcoa.

At some point you realize you're not going to get anywhere, and somewhat pack it in, with the playcalling anyway.

That may very well be what happened.

I watched the game and was unimpressed, but some would probably say the same about Gville.

SC going in may have realized their chances wasn't very good and kept it vanilla, and just worked on basic things. IDK

I still feel like my last post explains it better Tmite.

Yelp.......explains what most suspect about stampus lickus.  Be careful you don't remove all doubt. Some of the newer folks may still think you know a little something......

He played. I don't think he had many touches though. I can only remember 2. Not many for Gregory either.........or at least it didn't seem like it.

Manning only had 2 carries that I can remember, and I remember those because he went the wrong direction on both. Gregory I think only had 1, I think the injury to his manhood pretty well did him in for the night. Running the veer can limit a players carries depending on how the defense plays it. Mason kept several he probably should have handed off. In my opinion they didn't show everything though.

Vanilla probably says it best. I don't think that was the intent going in but the way the game was going ,it may have dictated a change of thinking. A whole lot of Williams up the gut.

Seems like ole stampus lickus thinks Manning has the power to put himself in and take himself out, even call the plays.....but we know better. And he likes getting a rise out of SC people.

Manning and Gregory both play on defense, Probably more 2 way players this year than in a long time.
