GA Grind No Longer?

I just saw this on the GNWA site. If the Grind is no longer going to be held, this may be a good opportunity for TN to capitalize and start a National level tournament on that date. I personally think Nashville would be a hard location to beat due to its location in relation to the Midwest and our neighboring Southern states, not to mention how cool a town it is to take a "staycation" in conjunction with the tournament.

I've always wanted to be part of a national tourney in Nashville! We have venues downtown we could look to rent and the theme would be amazing! I would be in on helping on this...

I just contacted Coach Aaron Holker about this.  His old high school coach was the tournament director for the Georgia Grind and USA Kids Freestyle and Greco Roman Nationals.

I just realized that Coach Holker's old coach is the tournament director for the whole USA Folkstyle Tour of America  series.

It would be awesome to host a TOA tournament in Nashville. Imagine having a national level tournament at the GEC. It would be a fun time for sure!
