You're right. They do have a lot of athletes but mental mistakes like turnovers are killing them so far this year.

Exactly. I'm sure Powell will win, but Karns always plays the Panthers closer than most would expect.

I still don't really have a good read on how good or bad Powell really is, so it's hard for me to say. I expect both teams to bring it either way.

If Karns turns the ball over the way they have against West and Hardin Valley, I expect Powell to win as big, if not by more. Feel bad for those young men over at Karns and all the adversity they have had to face these last few years. I would like them to finally get a good coach over there for once, they deserve it

Powell wins but only barely as they hold off Karns from about 2 yards out & first down with over two minutes in the game. Karns had two penalties that backed the ball up to the 12, but had one last shot with 6 seconds to go. Final - Powell 19 Karns 13. Tough loss but good game by Beavers. Panthers must correct self-inflicted problems.
