Fayetteville vs Moore County

If they were overlooking Wayne County, then they must have been overlooking Forrest too. I think some of the players might have thought MC was better than they really were because of the AP poll, but I don't think most of the coaches thought like that. The bottom line is that the first two teams MC played were not very good. It's going to be hard to score points if MC can't block on offense and tackle on defense. We have to have to wrap up on tackles. The coaches usually have the defense in position to make plays, but for some reason the players think that runners will just fall down when we bump into them. It's without a doubt "Gut Check time" for MC. Maybe we will improve after we drop out of the AP poll this week.

Exactly where in my post did I say WC didn't look good?  Someone had said earlier that maybe MC overlooked WC for Fayetteville.  I just said MC can't block or tackle, if you interpret that as me saying WC is not good, then either I can't type or you can't comprehend what you read.  But if you think that we didn't help WC win that game, then we must have been watching two different games.  We didn't block anyone all night and missed a heap of tackles.  Look at the film.

Was Moore County overlooking Wayne County to the Fayetteville game? That's hard to say. The Raiders run game has been shut down the last two games. If they don't find a way to generate some offense, it will be a long night for them.

Mc is 2-9 the last 11 meetings with WC so I doubt they were over looking them. From what I seen with Mc run game was it just took too long to develope and it gives the defense too much time to read it. Mc has some good athletes, just a few bugs to work out. Good luck this week and the rest of the season.

I'm trying to figure out Moore County. They had 16 starters returning this year. Coach Moore said this was the most talented team since he took over in Lynchburg. My question is this. What is wrong with his multiple trigger offense?

The coach's name is Coach Smith. Defenders are in the back field chasing the QB before he has time to throw and making contact with the RB's before they reach the line.

I don't think Mc offensive line is all that bad. WC has a pretty good group of linemen. WC line has speed and they bring in size when teams go away from the pass. Don't give up on y'all's boys yet, I think Mc will overcome these losses and have a good season. Y'all lost to a good Forrest team and a Wc team that's better than their record shows.

Tell us about the "multiple trigger" offense. What is it?
