Keys to the game: (1) can Gallatin defend the multiple sets TC will throw at them? They do a great job running the same plays from different sets. (2) can Gallatin throw the ball? FC and GP could not throw the ball 2 feet in front of them and hit a brick wall so TC will not be able to put 8 or 9 in the box to defend the run if Gallatin has any passing game at all. If Gallatin cannot throw, will be a long night. Lastly, TC doesn't have any depth, Their main concern for the next 5 games is to avoid season ending injuries, if this happens, TC will be in trouble.

Gallatin can throw the ball.

my teacher that year was a coach from gallatin.

having to take summer school for a lack of comprehension is one thing, having to take it because a math teacher bases 50% of a grade on a notebook is another.

after the 3rd time i corrected him he asked, "why are you here?" i laughed and said my teacher didn't like me, he looked at me for a moment and then said, "i believe you."

fun times... anyways... what are the town's folk in gullatin saying about this matchup, you seem like you have your finger on the pulse.

Then your teacher was Don Porter, a TC grad.

Everyone knows it will be a battle and are excited for the game. I hope that will translate to ticket sales. It has the feel of rivalry but a hint of the unknown. Gallatin knows what to expect from teams in their district. Although, Gallatin players have friends at TC from church functions and other activities in the area, they do not share simular opponents in football and that makes this a bit perplexing on how the match up will truly be.

Finally some game analysis. TC is good at running the ball from several different sets and seems to spread the ball around. Seems like all the runners are capable of making big plays. Gallatin has been able to throw the ball really well this year with multiple targets. Running game is pretty good with the line getting better each game. Looks like there are more substitutions happening so adding depth I feel has been made. I am sure that Hartsville's team is in very good shape. No doubt about that but they will get pressured all night. I think that will be a key. Should be a large crowd coming from Gallatin with a good night in store for the fans. Both schools are tradition rich and both have proud fanbases. No loser from a fans perspective in the matchup.

I personally like the references to the late 90's with the, you would not play us then stuff, then point out the overall record and it becomes, well that was 50 years ago. Makes no sense and matters not for Friday nights game. Go Green Wave!!

Overall record may be a little deceiving. Beech and Station Camp weren't cherry picking back then.
