coach10ac
Maybe not! As melrose saw we have a 6'3 dB that's hard to throw over the top on, and a speedster at da other corner that's hard to do anything on. And if the QB don't have a lot of time to make good reeds which he may not, its gone be a long nite.....
kwc
I agree coach10ac, but they throw it around to more then 1 or 2 recievers. Especially to that fine TE. Don't get me wrong, I think we win. I'm curious to see our 'D' rise to the ocassion. I think this game will be competitive.
BlackHavenSenator
Ridgeway was plenty size on their front lines! They got some Big, athletic looking boys! I honestly feel like they have the best QB in the Shelby-Metro Area #7 Braxton Conard... He didn't play that well against Henry Co. but that could be because Henry Co.'s home field advantage plus their Defense was 2 Legit like MC Hammer. Their defense is Aggressive and Huge on the D-Line. #53, #5, #57 and #88 all have Next Level size and they were pretty athletic. I didn't see much out of their LBs on the HC film. I'm sure they have speed in the secondary. #2 is a good looking athlete, but I think he can be BOMBED on... I look for the OC to test him like a freak at a cut party on some deep routes. Offensively, Conard and #85 have a chemistry that could be dangerous for the Whitehaven secondary. Their O-line looks decent. The thing about this Ridgeway team is their running game is NOWHERE near as Explosive as it has been in recent history. #32 seems to be a young guy, I would guess Freshman/Soph. He runs tough and is shifty but compared to Walton, Dawson, and the FAST lil Dude from last season (Orlando Johnson I believe) there NO comparison. Those guys had Elite burst and top end speed. The guy that I've seen on film doesn't seem to have those things. This game will be interesting depending on Whitehaven's Pass Rush and How Hot of a Hand Conard has... I'm telling you this boy can Single-Handedly WIN games for Ridgeway. Thing is I think Whitehaven can make Ridgeway One Dimensiona (passing only)l. If that happens Whitehaven should win going away by the start of the 4th quarter as enough hits will make any player shakey.
SEC1rules
I'll take Whitehaven by a coupe of TDs. However, Ridgeway could win this game if things go just right for them. Ridgeway is very good and have great OL/DL. I haven't seen Whitehaven play but expect them to be able to match Ridgeway man for man and then some. BlackHavenSenator
No one wants to debate for Ridgeway aye...
Haven04
I don't think any ridgeway folks are on here to debate with but we can't afford to make many mistakes against them. If we bring our B+ or A game we'll b fine. I def don't wanna this to be another nail biter like WS or Central. I haven't seen them play but I know they're not to be taken lightly. Should b a good match that I expect us to win by two scores
