You say 14 on one thread and 21 on the other..... I'm certain Bledsoe will go to Sequatchie and play with everything they've got.... Win or lose no excuses will be made from me.... Everyone knows the rivalry between the 2 teams and it will be a great atmosphere to watch the game, win or lose......

It will be a great atmosphere. Good luck to you guys

That is a wise young man!!

I'll be kind since the boy is obviously still very young and has yet to understand the principles of deductive reasoning.

Okay, I just don't think Notre Dame can beat Signal.  We can certainly hurt ourselves, but I don't think bad enough to lose.  Everybody we have played has put 8,9, and 10 in the box.  But EH, who held us under 300 yards, was the only team to stop our offense.  Tyner was 451 and Bradley 472.  Bradley slowed us enough to out score us and played a flawless game for the win.  ND has some strength in #44 and #55 and a lot of skill and speed. (plus a very good D coordinator)  But even skill and speed struggle with force and brute strength.

While ND has a lot of speed, I would not consider them to be a real prolific offense so far this season.  Our defense did a very effective job shutting down very good offenses in EH and Tyner.  If we don't change things up too much and confuse the guys,  I believe we can hold ND to three scores.

Signal 42

ND 21

with a bunch of sore and battered leprechauns.

My son just said this, "You know what's funny dad? Notre Dame beat East Ridge, East Ridge beat Polk County, Polk County beat Bradley Central, and Bradley Central beat Signal Mountain."

Polk just got the big head at east ridge and bradley has improved every week ....if polk played bradley again it may be a different outcome .... east ridge does not even compare to the 2s of signal.

Stop it Troll. You are tipping your hand as to what your excuses are going to be on Saturday morning. I am glad to see you are not giving NDs defense any credit. I assure you they are alot better than you give them credit for

    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
    • I'm from Cloudland and we've never played a sectional game.  We need to win tomorrow night to avoid that bus ride.  Us and north greene can play with you guys so I'm expecting good games whoever the matchup is.
