Thought I'd take yall back to 2005 for some classic king :)

Whhooo!! I'm looking forward to week 10 and the spanking of hampton. Whoo!! When you get cloudland riled up, ya better be a heck of a team! Make no mistake about it, you're gonna see dr. Johnson in the corner of the endzone all night long whooo and j. Horney is gonna make quick work of that pathetic little defensive line and most of all we're gonna run little pac man right out of rm. And I've got arms like stove pipes and I'm gonna take care of business on the sidelines for any bulldog that gets out of line and doesn't recognize the landers as the greatest region champion ever! Lunsford, you're gonna be checking this crew out for a long long time! ! Whooooo!!

Sorry guys, every now and then I have flash backs lol :)

Lol! Who knows where this conversation could go next.....you might be right uknoit2, bigfoot and global warming.......Nah, let's get to some football.

I was going to Hampton when the streak of 10 began from 1997 to 2003. Cloudland is always a big rivalry no matter who is favored. Until Hampton started playing Cosby on a regular basis, I didn't know where it was or anything, all I knew was Cloudland used to put it on them back in the day. After 2005 the rivalry really got its fuel for me from 2006 with all that happened. I have since put that stuff behind me and I think we all should. The people that were running that program back then are no longer there so it isn't much of a rivalry anymore. It is a region game but that is all. The bigger rivals for me are Cloudland, Happy Valley, Unicoi, Johnson County, and Unaka.

As for North Greene, the Dogs have never lost to them ever and I see no reason for the streak to end. Hampton has something to prove and I believe they will play a complete game this Friday against North Greene.

GO DOGS!!!!!

yeah i'd say your right most likely it has some envy in it just like when cloudland was successful a few years back lm sure that hampton cheered when they got beat it all goes in cycles.

I don't doubt that one bit. At the best we can do, I'd say all of  us have a little envy in us.

Tune in tomorrow when we discuss the myth known as global warming and the real truth about big foot

How about consolidation??? The only reason it won't happen in CC is because no one school can stand any of the others. it would be the best thing to ever happen for CC. (Sorry.... couldn't resist this subject!!)

Also.... when I get time, I'll throw my reasoning behind the world's water shortage on ya (old tires and water bottles)....

    • One final thought. Coach Keith claims he was not aware of the player's failing grades. I won't comment on that, just to say this, IF he did not, whose job was it to see that this kid did not play ball at CHS? That person should be looking for a job and they might be, I don't know.
    • They have fired the principal, 2 teachers, at least 1 counsellor and 1 coach so far. I don't see it from my view in Oak Ridge as a coach thing, he  was just implicated in asking 1 teacher to  fix 1 kid's grades.   In our local media(Clinton and Oak Ridge)the principal is who is the originator and pusher of the fraud. The others are peripheral. The coach isn't even the big story, just here on a sports site.  The media view is the principal did it to cause CHS to be seen as excellent by the state. He committed fraud to do that so he might spend a little time in jail IF that is valid.
    • And from coach himself, he wasn’t told he was let go because of the ineligible player.    that’s just what the schools needed to happen to fit their bull
    • Wish it was made clear before a coach gets let go or not retained instead of being sold as the reason he was in trouble. I was told the kids who got grades changed, 97% or better were non athletes but the coach is taking all the heat so the schools can pretend it wasn’t their job to know. heck, what do you think could happen when you hire husband and wife as head principal and head guidance….   that’s not being said though…
    • Hmmmmm……doe dee doe doe.  Last time I came up there to watch my pirates one of those guys in that pickup trucks flattened the tires on the lawnmower.  This is payback.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
