Today in the IFL ....

Dobyns Bennett travels back in time and defeats every team in 7AAA!!  It was awesome.

You Like that , It's just one compared to the hundreds of victories by 7AAA on a daily basis ... lol .... 7AAA , THE LAND OF IMMORTALS !!! We all bow down to your supremacy ! lol ...

I don't think anyone, including pep, is debating how tough 7aaa is ( at least this year top 4 teams ). It's fun to talk about it. You guys always use the analogy of the sec of tn high school football, but what good would all the talk be about the sec if teams outside the sec won the natl title over the last 5 years.. Yeah we have the toughest conference , we play the toughest schedule ... But what good does that do?

7aaa is in a drought- we shall see what oakland is made of this week. It's a long hard road to Cookeville that goes thru Maryville. I personally think Maryville is better this year than last and I think Siegle's team last year would be undefeated right now playing the current teams ... It's going to be brutal and all this talk of how has the best district is not very relevant other than it makes for good football most weeks.

I lived in Murfreesboro until last year .. Love the town , people and the athletics but until the gold ball comes back to middle tn, I am not sure what good all the chest beating does.

It's like certain Whitehaven fans on here ... Always talking smack and they go up and get humbled this past week. People just tire of all the cockiness and not backing it up. It's like many fans of 7aaa have to make themselves feel better by demeaning other districts because they have not won a gold ball in a while.

If your neighbor has a Lexus and you envy his car you don't go over and smash it with a sledge hammer .. You work hard to get one ...

Whitehaven are the Defending state champs that have been consistently sending student athletes to college to play football... How u figured someone got humbled when everything WHITEHAVEN Wants is in Front of them. We don't play for win streaks. We play for Gold Balls. Not backing it up... Shut yo face

As much smack as you talk you would think Whitehaven had 20 state championship. Rushing for 2 yards and getting blown out all while taking shots at kids from the other team does nothing for me. Losing has a way of quieting the big mouths. To quote a genius you guys looked popcorn and str8 slaw....

So WAS whitestation. Tennessee is littered with teams who have won ONE state championship. Congratulations

Thank you for attempting to rain on our parade... We played in the last 2 title games... As I was saying in 2012, One starts One Million. In recent history, Whitehaven has been a factor whether you want to say it to ME or not.

Congrats , we've played in the Last 9 years ... 9 is more than 2 ...

We've been there 14 out of the last 16 years there BHS .... I know this means nothing to you because it's not your team that has accomplished this  .

    • Deja vu all over again, 7 yrs apart. SMDH Does anybody talk to each other?
    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
