Stewart County has struggled a bit as of late but they continue to play hard. The game vs East Hickman was a good one midway thru the 3rd quarter . A fumble returned for a touchdown by East Hickman swung the momentum. As a dad of one of the Rebel players I can honestly say I am excited about Stewart County football. The team that Finley is fielding will for the most part return next season. Lewis County is a huge challenge for these boys but they are having fun and they believe

Stewart County is very young and if the kids do stay the course and buy in there's no doubt in my mind that they'll win a district championship someday soon. Coach Finley will do it the right way!

The Rowdy Rebs have overcome a lot in the past two years and continue to be a team that should not be overlooked. However, Lewis Co. is getting warmed up for the playoffs and should take care of business at home in a big way. Panthers by 36.

Stewart Co., CW and MC are all potential trap games for LC. I know that LC is favored and should win, but a well coached team that plays hard is always dangerous. SC and LC first played in 1979 and have played a total of 12 times.
