cant and wont happen Trousdale is further east.  when they are placing teams in quads they go strictly by east to west.  record or loaded quad means nothing.  look at quad 4 1a a couple years ago and then quad 2 2a last year loaded with top teams but they were geographically grouped together.  Trousdale will be quad 2

Not true. Trousdale was moved to Quad 3 a few years ago. TC hasn't changed

geographically. T$$AA doesnt "always" follow their own rules. Who knows what they

 will decide this time.

We ended up playing McKenzie that yr. on the Creekbank.

At this point I think Quad Three will look something like this, assuming TCA is sent to Quad 4.

Loretto or Mt. Pleasant at Adamsville  (representing 6 at 1)

Mt. Pleasant or Loretto at Huntingdon (representing 5 at 2

Riverside at McKenzie (representing 4 at 3)

I am very interested in seeing how the next three weeks play out. Traditionally, Huntingdon begins gaining steam about this time of the year. Let's see what happens between them and McKenzie. I think that game will have huge playoff implications for Quad 3. Either Adamsville or Huntingdon definitely have the inside track at fighting their way out of this quad as of now.

In this scenario... would mean that Huntingdon won their district and would be the #1 seed.  You are right... the Huntingdon - McKenzie game and also the Huntingdon - Dresden game have seeding implications in this quad.

1 & 2 get a 1st round bye. 6 is at 3 and 5 at 4.

Be nice, in the 1st round at least, if the 2-4 teams without a bye only played the ones inside their own quad respectively.......... Sure could be some Good Remaches happening.... Then mix it up with other quads after the bye. Allowing each quad to kinda clean out their own 2 weakest teams then allow the 4 best of each quad go at it.

You do play within your quad. You won't meet a team outside your quad until the semi-finals.

All quads in 1A and 2A are the same that:

Round 1:

#1 and #2 - bye

#5 at #4

#6 at #3

Round 2:

winner of #5 / #4 at #1

winner of #6 / #3 at #2

Round 3:

2 winners from round 2 play at higher seed

Round 4:

winner of Quad 1 & 2 play

winner of Quad 3 & 4 play

Location alternates depending on even or odd year from top or bottom side of bracket

Round 5:

winner of Quad 1 & 2 play winner of Quad 3 & 4

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
