I think the top 2 of the districts move on to the second round. I think C'wood wins the region. They're really good this year.

Please explain how you can say Loretto will win the region when Collinwood thoroughly dominated them in the district championship?

Collinwood is a great well balanced team & did dominate Loretto in the 1st quarter, 23-6, outscoring Loretto by 6 the last 3 quarters(Loretto actually outscored Collinwood by 2 in the 2nd half). Loretto missed way too many easy shots(especially early) but never quit.  Collinwood never eased up either. Trojans led by 25 at the half & by 33 at one point winning by 23 in the end. But Loretto is a very well balanced team inside & out & can play with anybody. Anything can happen & sometimes does. I never thought Riverside would beat them, yet they did. Richland blew a 15 point lead over them losing by 2 late. Not sure how Lawrence Co beat 'em by 24. Anywho, it's just a prediction. It would also help if when a defender is standing still for a couple of seconds gets run over, he wouldn't get called for a foul(more than once). And also nice if when a player is outside the 3 point line on defense he doesn't get called for his 3rd foul when the foul occurs under the goal by a different player. Also nice if travel violations(Skynyrd sang about it-Give me 3 steps Mister) & lane violations were called(pass it in, back out, dribble around, guy still in).

Well Loretto out scored Collinwood in the 2nd half because they kinda eased up once they got ahead by 30. And I believe Collinwood and CA will play in the championship and it's a toss up as to who will win.

Actually Collinwood didn't let up until Loretto cleared the benches with 4:00 left to go.  Loretto got jumped on early, lost our big guy that threw the whole strategy out the window, never could recover, don't know that it would have made a difference anyways the way Collinwood was hitting everything they shot and played great defense.  Not blaming the refs but they were terrible, absolutely terrible but that happens every time SHE steps on the court.  Yes they did give the big guy a 3rd foul when he was no where around.  I don't know how,  Its not like he is 6'8" and nobody close to looking like him.  how do you screw up such a call  23 doesn't resemble the number 54 either.  When brought to the refs attention they got together and said yes it was 54.  Wow, give them a chance to correct it and they still screwed it up.  Terrible.  Probably why you cant film playoff games as it brings the incompetence to the fore front to watch over and over again.  But no it did not cost Loretto the game.  It just showed everyone how bad the ref really were.  Give Collinwood credit they played great and Loretto just got out played.  That's in the past and they just need to concentrate on the Raiders.

Not wanting to continue an argument but 54 was still in the game when the last horn blew. Good luck to Loretto...much improved team that will give anyone a game. Still think this is Cwoods year but be patient cause Loretto's year is coming soon

There is no rule saying playoff games can't be filmed. All games can be filmed as long as they are being filmed by the schools involved in the game. Teams can have their own film person as well as any parent in the stands. People from other schools are not allowed to film games in which their team is not playing.

Proud of you raiders.. Not many people thought you guys would be very good this year after loosing so many guys off of last years state team.. Sucks that Jacob Farrar twist his ankle early in the game tonite at Loretto.. He kept playing but was prolly 50% and not sure he scored more than 2 pts.. Loretto played good not taking nothing from them but game would have been closer if not a different outcome if he does get hurt but that's sports!!!
