You get that same officiating crew they will do ALL they can to get you to the next round. I hope Jo Byrns runs the score up on your team.

Went NCS getting all over E Nashville last week after the game cause they were blaming the officials. We never has a problem with discipline when we play JB. It's always a tough game between us, but we leave it on the field. We all pray together after the game.

Since the Irish were in cedar hill this was the closest game for me to go watch.  Worth my 6 bucks to see the 125 lb kicker lay out the lineman that had speared him earlier . let me describe the scenario, its worth it.  i read some posts last night about last years game when CA had targeted NCS kicker on kickoffs.  well they did it again tonight. 1st kickoff they didnt get him very good, 2nd kickoff , the ball carrier is being tackled in the usual pile that occurs, 20 yds away the kicker is trotting by himself when a guy goes after him, he trys to avoid the hit and the guy wraps an arm around his waist and begins pulling him to ground at this point another lineman comes in and spears him in the rib cage. he is hurt and lays on the field a while, no penalty is called. next kickoff, the lineman that had speared him gets knocked down , now he is 20 yds from the action , all by himself . as he is getting to his feet the kicker sees him sprints 15 yds and lays him out just as he gets up.  he does get a penalty, but became a hero for all 125 lb kickers.  reminded me of the old Dallas Cowboys Philadelphia Eagles games.  they actually came after him again . I really dont think i have ever seen anything like it.  obviously intentionally trying to hurt the little guy.  and gtripledip, i wouldnt try that at JB, you wont get out of cedar hill if you try stunts like that

I'm going to say that NCS played a sloppy game. Too many holding and false starts that were legitimate. They will need to use the bye week to clean that up. I am not going to fault the refs for those calls. As I stated to the guy from East Nashville on here after last weeks game, sometimes there are calls for you and some time against you. Refs are human and will make some mistakes and that is part of the game. I don't have a problem with letting the refs know about a missed/wrong call during the game but I won't blame them for anything afterwards. We had legitimate mistakes that were called and we still overcame them.

I have no problem with someone assigned to put a block on the kicker, he's one of 11 guys on the field who can make a tackle. However, these were cheap shots and were repeated over and over without call. The "Malachi Crunch" on him by the two players was finally the last straw for him. The kicker saw an opportunity for payback and took it. He was called for the penalty and it was the correct call. We accept that and move on. The person who said we played the dirty game, please tell us where we got away with anything dirty. For the most part, we didn't react to the extra shoves after the whistle and other outside shots. However, it did finally wake us up from our lackluster play at the beginning of the game.

Go after a defenseless kicker against JB like you did against us and you'll see what breaks loose.  I talked with our coaching staff and they said they've never seen anything like that before (except at CA last year).  Purposeful intent to injure an opposing player.  Totally classless.  Why don't you explain to everyone that wasn't at the game what those boys were trying to do?  You know it is indefensible.

You must have been watching the game with NCS glasses. Did you see the first kickoff of the game? NCS kicks off to CA. Our ball carrier get tackled and there was a pile up on the field. After the play # 55 from NCS comes from the sideline headed out to play defense and instead goes straight to the pile and grabs a CA players by the face mask and pull him off the pile. He wasn't even on your kickoff team. No flag! Also you can't complain about a kicker getting illegally hit and then brag about how he made an illegal hit later in the game. I'm not sure about the rule about hitting the kicker on the kick off, but I have seen when a kicker went unblocked and he makes the tackle or even saves a touchdown. I'm all about fair play but just says you can't hit the kicker isn't correct. I will read and educated myself on what rules say about this. As far as him being a "little" guy, we start a bunch of them every week. We have starting db's and receivers that weight around 110 pounds.

Have you ever posted where you didn't call someone a name or slur? How is a kicker defenseless. Also please address what # 55 did on the opening kickoff?

I'm not sure what was going on as far as the kicker situation. As I said earlier, I think this was a hard fought contest. You outsized and outmanned us tonight. I also this that you team might have been looking past us at the start of the game. I was very impressed with #44 and # 24. Also you quarterback iOS very gusty. He hung in the pocket and then scrambled to free himself to throw the ball downfield. I also have taught my sons to never blame the refs for anything in any sports. They have no dog in the hunt and call what they see.

Also let me say that I have read several of your post. You most always stay on point and never go down the road of name calling. I appreciate that. I think NCS has a lot of talent and will go deep in the playoffs. Good luck!

You character is showing again.

I'm still waiting for you to explain what those nice young men from CA were trying to do to our kicker.  "My character" happens to be displaying righteous anger.  I'll cut the game film down and post those plays somewhere for folks to watch and we'll see what the reactions are.  If you can't see how a 125-lb kicker is defenseless against two linemen that outweigh him by close to 200 lbs. then you are kidding yourself.  Your character is showing by trying to defend the indefensible.

    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
    • This whole situation is bonkers. You don’t just kick your star player off the team just because you heard them say the F word; the coach definitely had something against the player, or somebody definitely did. Also, nobody has brought up the idea that the school blackmailed the college to get the college to withdraw the scholarship offer, not to mention that the coach who kicked her off is no longer even with the program; they were fired. I think this is a pretty easy lawsuit. I don’t know if she should deserve that much money, but I think she should get enough money for a full-ride scholarship if she cannot get one after this situation.
