Amen the 2 guys that do it now is so boring to watch

Surely the two Yahooes who gave us this wonderful experience aren't getting paid. I only saw 2 to 5 second blips followed by4 to 5 minute blank intervals before I threw up my hands and went out and mowed the yard. The longest segment I was allowed to see was the wonderful segment praising the CPA coach's beard. How nerdy was that?? A cleansing of the TSSAA house is in order!!

It is my hope that the TSSAA returns to five classifications in 2015.  Six is too many and this crazy playoff system is the pits too.  Coaches hate it.  The system that was in place until 2008 was the better one.  You could actually look at teams schedules in the adjoining region and get some idea who you are going to play, and where.

Hermitage, TN (AP)

The TSSAA wishes to issue the following statement in the aftermath of its botched video football playoff announcement this morning.

“We heard about something not going right and that a lot of people might have been inconvenienced by something this morning.  This is not the first time that we’ve inconvenienced a lot of people and it will not be the last.  The decision to try to video the brackets was a judgment call and our bylaws do not allow us to accept any responsibility for anything especially when judgment is involvedâ€, commended Executive Director Childress.

Executive Director Childress went on to say that the 50-50 gate playoff split was still in effect.  “Despite the Association having $3 million in cash, making a half a million a year and one of the highest paid executive staffs around, you just never know when you’ll need a little extra cashâ€.  “Yes we know that some programs can’t afford trainers and basic stuff, but when you spend a lot of money you need a lot of moneyâ€.

Childress concluded by encouraging fans to support their teams “wherever we may send themâ€.
