What is up at Waverly?

Where is the big name from? I heard he coached at a private in nashville but didn't hear the school name and whether he was a hc or ac.

I was told it was an ensworth assistant

I heard it is a coach with a high school and college background. From a private school in the Nashville area. Is that true?

Not sure where the guy is from, but is supposed to be a former state champion.

I heard that................wait, I heard this, but he is from..........................? Quit saying you know who it is without giving a name. I hope they get someone pretty good. Not sure if someone from Ensworth would leave & come to Humph County. Good luck Tigers.

I don't think a coach from Ensworth could make it in Humphreys County. They have some good athletes but not many D1 players like a coach there has. Someone proven in a public school setting would be a better fit. He would know how to get more out of all the kids. May not even have to be a proven coach just someone with a true interest in the program. Hope to see the Tigers compete again in 3A.

I was told Coach Rice was in this week and a few others and next week I am told Coach Corbitt will interview. Wow ether one of them would be BIG for Waverly.
