This game could very well be one by special teams and I seen greeneville first hand and they are good. Can the Fulton fans tell us what your special teams are like and if you think Fulton can win in the special teams battle against the devils.

From Friday night I can tell you that their kickoff and punt coverage is great and hard hitting. You will be able to return all their kickoffs but if you get past the 20 to 25 you are doing well. I don't know if I wouldn't just let them go into the end zone. Punts were generally high booming kicks that gave the coverage team time to get downfield. The PAT's were very weak so I'm not sure if they have a field goal threat at all. I asked for feedback on that earlier but no one responded.

Fulton's kicker consistently put the ball on the 10. Whether that was intential or an indication of his ability was not clear. However, the Rebels' picked the ball up at the same spot each kickoff. A dangerous place to let it bounce toward the endzone in hopes of a touchback. South never got past the 20.

Fulton's bread and butter (against South) was the wide sweep. South lost thier first team CB at the beginning of the 3rd. Up to that point it was hit and miss for the sweep for Fulton. Late in the fourth they realized South's replacement was not as fast and began to exploit it.

South was in Fulton's backfield all evening forcing alternative decisions. As well, Fulton put major pressure on South's passing game by way of their rush.

The game changer was Fulton's sweep by their tailback once South lost their corner. This success for Fulton came late in the fourth.

Special teams are strong, but don't get to use them much. Last team to intentionally punt to the Falcons was in week 5 against Central. Everyone since then has been afraid to. So will the Devils punt to the falcons or will they be afraid they can't cover them. If Greeneville is confident, then I anticipate some exciting punt returns. If they are like everyone else... they are too afraid they cant cover them. Smack talk or not... that first punt will be revealing. I hope they man up and don't punt out of bounds.
