Who will be Knox Central new coach?

Rodney Ellison from Clinton would be an excellent choice if he was given the proper support and was allowed to bring in a staff he assembled with adequate time to interview and choose the best possible candidates.

I am just curious as to why you and others feel that Ellison would be a good fit for the job at Central?

Rodney Ellison is an excellent coach. He has head coaching experience at Wartburg. He did a great job this past season in helping Clinton improve their record. I personally hope he stays at CHS but support him if je wants to ne a head coach again.

Central would do well to look at Rodney, the Prices or Derek Rang. All of these guys can coach.

Derek Rang is a chip off the old G.Q. block and showed up well with Powell. It would be a very stupid mistake to pass that up no matter what unless winning don't mean anything at Central anymore.

I've known Rodney for a long time and know the guy can coach. If he chose to implement the same offense at Central that he did at Clinton, look out 3AAA. I got to go to a couple of Clinton's games this year and they were explosive. One of the games I went to was the Central game. There were a lot of yards put up that night. I'm sure that Clinton would hate to lose him, but it would be a great hire for Central. Central needs some structure and I'm sure Ellison would be able to deliver that and an offense that would put up some big numbers. And don't just think he's an offensive guy either. He has been a DC before too and had a pretty dang good defense as well. I don't know who else is in the running, but he should definitely be in the top 3 choices.
