Best Player in 5a for 2014

I don't know about all of 5a but here are two players from Clarksville that will definitely be in the conversation next year.

 

 

Conner Richard (#43) was our leading tackler as a sophomore linebacker and most likely will be the defensive captain as a junior next year.

 

 

Brevon Johnson (#33) was our freshman running back. This young man already has the size and strength to be a D1 prospect.

Here is a name everyone should remember: Gunner Osbron. He was a starter on the defensive line as a sophomore this year. He is huge and isn't thru growing. He will be a beast by the time he is a senior.

Nick Woods and Matt Milita from East Hamilton

Nick Woods yes...Milita....if you put him at slot and wideout he will be successful....he can catch and run very well reminds me of a Welker....Woods will be a stud in training.....

Copeland of Bradley will be another stud in training.....taller than his brother which makes him more dangerous....

Austin Massey of Cleveland.....6'3 215 will get some looks...had a good camp at Clemson....5aaa will be reloaded with stud qb's....again......

After watching a lot of McCallie Football the last few years there are two transfers back into the public school system to watch out for.  Both of these kids will be Juniors

London Elrod  -- at Ooltewah  (QB)

 

Both are excellent players

yes Coleman will replace 21 on special teams on kickers who cant kick to the endzone....Elrod is a stud in training....Owls got 2 seniors who can get the job done depending on the type of offense they will run and it would be a travesty to put an unexperienced signal caller in front of that experienced offense..... need to see more accuracy out of him which I did'nt see in the jv games.....but given more time he will develop into a stud.....

Although an often over looked position, Clarksville's Kicker will probably be one of the best in the state. He already has D1 offers coming in and can be a game changer.

 

 

He consistently can put kick-offs out of the back of the end zone.

 

Probably averages well over 40 yards on punts (with accuracy)

 

And he can kick 40+ yard field goals in game situations.
