True. JC is tough. We played them in the Bahamas and barely snuck by on them. They made it to the finals in the Bahamas, but got beat. I think we kinda ran out of steam there at the end from so many consecutive games played, but everyone else was dealing with the same adversity, so that's no excuse.

The deal with Patrick good isn't because he didn't like sh coach or anything. From all I heard he loved sh but who wouldn't want to go play for their dad and try and win championships with him rather that be conference, region or state. He's one heck of a ball player and probably is the best in East Tennessee. I know they have two really good sophomore players with him. One of which scored 20+ in a game earlier this year.

I am a SH fan and from what I've been told, only 1 kid at SH has really been talking about possibly transferring to Crockett. His name is Mikey White and he doesn't even play basketball at SH. He plays football. Apparently, he was transferring to Crockett because he had decided he wanted to play basketball this year and did not like SH's coach. However, I was told yesterday that the kid has decided to stay at SH because of football. 

 

This year's SH squad is nowhere near as talented as years past but they are a hard-working, gritty group. They play with a lot of heart and are surpassing expectations for this season already. SH has a lot of talent coming up on the JV, Freshman and 8th grade teams. So, Topper fans just need to be patient.

Back to the subject of the thread. The best players I have seen in upper east Tn this year are Zeke Clarke at Eliz, Cody McClain and Stanley Valentine at Hampton, Patrick Good at Crockett, Logan Carrier at Unaka, and the Songster kid at Science Hill.

That is a good list but we can't leave out Reppart at Daniel Boone and Nichols at Elizabethton
