dude's team beat a two win Collinwood team and now they are ready to join the SEC...and he cant wait to forget all the times the rockets crashed like North Korea missiles against the wood. Now I know why they call them rockets...all that freaking hot air

Why in freaking heck would Collinwood want to travel 100 miles to play Chapel Hill in a meaningless out of district game when they got a similar sized school and a long standing rivalry twenty miles or less down the highway that will draw a huge gate. Plus Collinwood only has four home games so playing Wilson is a gift to the fans that want to go but don't like doing a two hour drive???

Did coach Statom not know it was two hours away when he signed the contract and had them come to cwood??? Just saying. I don't blame cwood but y'all should have honored the agreement.

Again, we were scheduled to come to YOUR place. Y'all drove to ours last year. You obviously know very little about what you speak.

I played at Loretto and enjoyed what few battles we had with Collinwood ('93-'96). I met a lot of great friends in those battles. Casey Ward, Brian Hunt, and big John Bray. I truly hate to see Collinwood to have the struggles like they have had lately. They have a trdition of hard nosed players with tons of discipline. Hopfully those traditions will be restored in "The Hole" as we called it in Loretto.

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
